After facing a series of protests against conducting the examination during the pandemic, the National Testing Agency, NTA has released the information about its exam center for NEET 2020 exam and now the details can be verified through their official website on ntaneet.nic.in.

NEET 2020 Exam Date And Admit Card

In this website, candidates who aspire to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2020 can check their exam center details.

The admit card will also be released soon on the same official website.

Prior to this development, the Union Government announced that no exams would be postponed.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG would be conducted on September 13, 2020, while the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main would be conducted between September 1-6.

Recently, the students have been protesting against the conduct of the examination amid this pandemic.

On top of that, petitions were also filed by parents and students to cancel the examination, later on, got rejected by the Supreme Court on August 18.

On the other hand, the Medical Council of India, MCI has filed an affidavit in Supreme Court against postponing NEET 2020. 

According to the MCI, the NEET exam cannot be further postponed as further postponement would lead to a situation where there would be too much deviation from the council’s time schedule.

Moreover, the SC was very much clear about its order for the examinations would be conducted on schedules decided. 

Following that, NTA has released a clarification confirming the same further stating that the examination cannot be postponed.

Safety Plan For NEET 2020 Examination

With the release fo the exam center information, NTA has come up with a detailed safety plan citing the pandemic.

According to them, the plan will help NTA in conducting large scale exams like JEE Main and NEET with the required diligence while ensuring the safety for all the candidates who are appearing for these exams.

NTA has also released the process and guidelines to be followed for examination days. 

Basically, the exam day would be categorized into three stages and a set of activities are attached to each of the stages as mentioned below.
