The Ministry of Civil Aviation has now announced that any air travelers with a visa of any kind can travel to the US, UK, Canada, and UAE under the air bubble agreement. However, Indian Government hasn’t allowed all visa holders to enter the country yet.

Recently, the ministry had eased up the rules similarly for people who wished to travel to the US, Germany, France.

Any Valid Visa Holder Can Travel To US, UK, Canada, UAE: Ministry Of Civil Aviation

In a letter to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), The Ministry of Civil Aviation confirmed that all those who wish to travel to the US, the UK, Canada, and the UAE will be able to do so under the bilateral air bubble agreement and with any kind of visa. These visa categories also include tourist business, student, and Transit Visa as well. 

As per reports, the Government of India has not allowed all visa type holders to travel to India. There are a few exceptions to this rule as the government has announced that only certain specific visa holders can travel to India through international flights from the above countries. 

As we all know, the Government of India is focusing on bringing back Indian citizens who have been stranded in other countries under the Vande Bharat mission which is in its fifth stage. The other option for this used by the Indian government is the bilateral air bubble agreement. 

India Negotiating Air Bubbles With France, US, Germany

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri recently announced in a press conference that the government of India is in a very advanced stage of negotiations for finalizing the air bubble or bilateral bubbles with three countries minimum, which include France, the US, and Germany. 

He also confirmed that the next step of action for the government will be to initiate international flights that will be based on the bilateral agreements with specific countries. 

As per the minister the bilateral air bubbles will be the primary form of transporting international passengers at least until the covid-19 situation normalises across the globe. 

Recently the Ministry of civil aviation was announced that any citizen of India can travel to the US Germany and France on any type of visa.
