Samsung unveiled multiple products at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020. The much-awaited Galaxy Note 20 is here alongside multiple Samsung products as Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Buds Live Galaxy Z Fold 2, and more. The new Galaxy Note 20 smartphones will be Samsung’s latest offering in the premium range.

After the Galaxy S20 lineup, it’s the company’s latest lineup of products.

Samsung has launched another successor to its infamous folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip. The all-new Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones will be available in India soon. The other products unveiled are: Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Tab S7 tablet series.

Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra

Two new Galaxy Note devices have been unveiled. With a new ‘Mystic Bronze’ colour option, the new Note phones will come in Black, Green, White and Grey colour options. Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra feature a similar design with the famous S-Pen stylus. Galaxy Note 20 comes with a flat 6.7-inch 1080p AMOLED panel featuring 60Hz refresh rate.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with an edged (curved) 6.9-inch 1440p Dynamic AMOLED 2X featuring 120Hz refresh rate. The latency of the S-Pen is now down to 9ms.

Both the Galaxy Note 20 phones come with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 865+ processor. In India devices will come with Exynos 990 chipset. Note 20 and the Note 20 5G have a maximum of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Note 20 Ultra has 8GB of RAM while Note 20 Ultra 5G has 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB.

The bigger Note 20 Ultra packs a 4,500mAh battery, while the Note 20 has a 4,300mAh unit. Both the devices come with 25W fast charging. Wireless charging is also available with support for Qi and reverse wireless charging to charge your watch or earbuds.

Coming to optics, each has a triple camera system. Note 20 Ultra comes with a primary 108-megapixel sensor with two 12-megapixel cameras, and the Note 20 has a 12-megapixel primary sensor but with a 64-megapixel telephoto camera and another 12-megapixel camera ultra-wide lens. Both can shoot up to 8K videos while the front camera comes with a 10-megapixel sensor.

Galaxy Tab S7, Tab S7+

Both the new Tab S7 and Tab S7+ feature a 120Hz HDR10+ display. The larger Tab S7+ features a 12.4-inch AMOLED panel, the Tab S7 comes with an 11-inch LCD panel. Both will run on Snapdragon 865+ processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage with the option of additional storage a microSD card.

Tab S7 has a 8,000mAh, while Tab S7+ packs a humongous 10,090mAh unit. Both feature 45W fast charging on these. Both come with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual cameras at the back and at the front you get an 8-megapixel camera.

Galaxy Buds Live

The latest Galaxy Buds Live come with active noise cancellation. They are 12mm drivers tuned by AKG and three microphones for improved voice calling. There’s Bluetooth v5.0 packing in 60mAh batteries in each earbuds with a 472mAh battery in the case. Samsung claims the Buds Live can offer up to a total of 29 hours of battery life and up to 8 hours per on the buds.

The Buds Live are IPX2 rated for water resistance with touch controls.

The Buds come with support for Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant, fast charging via the USB Type-C and Qi wireless charging.

Galaxy Watch 3

Samsung also unveiled the latest Galaxy Watch 3. It has a round dial, a rotating bezel featuring a 41mm size with a 1.2-inch 360 x 360 pixels Super AMOLED display and a larger 1.4-inch display on the 45mm variant having a similar resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX. The Watch 3 runs on a dual-core Exynos 9110 CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

The watch is in line with the MIL-STD-810G standards along with IP68 water resistance. It has fitness tracking features and a heart rate sensor with a Blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor, support for blood pressure (BP) monitoring, electrocardiogram (ECG) readings and more.

Samsung has also added a mic with the watch and speaker so you can now take calls directly from the watch.

The 41mm variant of Galaxy Watch 3 features a 247mAh battery while the bigger 45mm variant has a 340mAh battery. Both include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0 and there is an LTE model for eSIM support. There’s a new Trip Detection feature added which is similar to the Apple Watch which can send a custom SOS alert to emergency contacts.

Galaxy Z Fold 2

Finally the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Samsung unveiled its third foldable device at thr Unpacked event. With a similar tall design, it now has a larger display on the inside. Galaxy Z Fold 2 outer display measures at 6.2-inches while the inner display is sized at 7.6-inches featuring 120Hz refresh rate.

The inner display now uses folding within the super-thin layer of glass instead of plastic. It has ‘Flex Mode’ as the Z Flip which includes a self cleaning mechanism using elastic fibers to keep the hinge clean.
