With over 1.86 million Covid positive cases across India, chances of community spread and every third person in a group of 5 turning out positive has become incredibly high.

The government as a whole is trying its best (Central as well as States) to try and spread as maximum awareness, especially after launching apps like Aarogya Setu.

In a similar suit, IT giant Tech Mahindra has launched a Covid screening platform, called ‘Mhealthy’, which provides solution to workforce and community safety.

What is ‘MHealthy’ About?

The IT firm designed and launched a coronavirus screening platform, which not conducts the mandatory antigen test (antibodies) for risk assessment but also screens multiple factors, which may contribute to the susceptibility of risk.

Tech Mahindra is confident about its service and states that the platform to be clinically tested. It complies with all the regulations and guidelines mandated by the government.

The platform has been approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation.

This service uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and other technologies, to gather digital diagnostics back by strong data.

This service will cost Rs 1200 per person.

Test Results have been 96% Accurate

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer C P Gurnani, of Tech Mahindra said that this service provides an accuracy rate of 96% in detecting Covid antibodies.

It also provides over 32 screening tests on a single platform. In these, it detects underlying problems like blood glucose and hypertension.

As of now, the company has extended this service employees and plans to extend the benefits to customers.

Result Categories

The service MHealthy connects the tested individual with doctors for follow up consultations, once the test results are out, using an app.

Each tested individual is assigned one of the 3 levels:

  • L1: suggesting the person is healthy
  • L2: suggesting chances of exposure
  • L3: high risk of becoming Covid positive.

Extending its services now to the general public as well, the company stated that it will disperse the Mhealthy team to society premises and different companies for screening purposes, if asked for.
