So, can Poco X2 beat OnePlus Nord?
Design, Display
OnePlus Nord features a mix of glass and metal with curved sides. OnePlus Nord feels sturdy and premium, and it’s glossy on the out with a vertical camera strip on the top right corner. It features a 6.44-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display offering a 90Hz refresh rate with dual punch-hole on the top right corner.
The OnePlus Nord display offers a touch sampling rate of 180Hz for gaming with an in-display fingerprint sensor beneath.
In comparison, Poco X2 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display offering 120Hz refresh rate in an 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone comes with dual hole-punch cameras upfront as OnePlus Nord with curved edges protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
It’s not an AMOLED panel on the Poco X2, and operates at 1080 × 2400 pixels.

Poco X2 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G. Poco X2 is available in three different storage models: the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, a mid-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and finally the top model will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
OnePlus Nord is powered by mid-range Qualcomm 5G chip, the Snapdragon 765G. The chip pairs with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 8GB with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The OnePlus Nord with Snapdragon 765G have a few better CPU configurations, enhanced GPU and 5G connectivity. But in terms of daily use you won’t find any noticeable difference between the two smartphones.
Software, UI
Poco X2 runs on the latest Android 10 with MIUI 11 out-of-the-box with a special Poco launcher on top. The UI comes loaded with features and bloatware, and delivers a clean performance as any other non-stock device. MIUI 12 update on Poco X2 is expected to be rolled out soon.
In comparison, OnePlus Nord runs on Android 10 out of the box with OxygenOS. The latest OxygenOS comes with multiple upgrades and optimisations.
It offers improved animations, visuals, unlocking speeds, app switches, enhanced control in landscape mode and more.
Cameras
Both Poco X2 and OnePlus Nord feature a rear quad camera setup. The four cameras at the back on Poco X2 include the latest 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor. It is further supported by a 2-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel wide angle camera.

The setup further includes a 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 119 field-of-view (FOV), a 5-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and 2-megapixel depth sensor unit. Upfront, the OnePlus Nord features a 32-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel depth sensor.
Both the smartphones can capture some great shots in spite of difficult lighting conditions. The colours are quite accurate with proper white balance playing the role. Poco X2 has a better main sensor on paper and at times it will excel OnePlus Nord in difficult conditions.
Battery, Fast Charging
Finally, coming to the battery, the Poco X2 houses a sizable 4,500mAh battery. It’s good enough to run for more than a day. Poco X2 also supports 27W fast charging tech, and will ship with the 27W fast charger with the box.
Poco X2 with 27W fast charging can be charged from 0 to 40 percent in 25 minutes.
In comparison, OnePlus Nord houses a slightly smaller 4,115mAh battery with 30W fast charging support (Warp 30T).

Poco X2 price in India starts at Rs 17,499 now after GST hike for the base model comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The mid-end 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 18,499 while the top-end variant of Poco X2 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage now costs at Rs 21,499.
Poco X2 is available exclusively in India via Flipkart and Mi online store.
OnePlus Nord price for the 64GB model is set at Rs 24,999, Rs 27,999 for the 128GB model and 256GB model for Rs 29,999.
