Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C launched, expected to come to India alongside Redmi 9. The Redmi 9 series specifications and prices are out, and the devices are set to come in a short period of time. Redmi 9 series will include the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C further in the affordable category.

Redmi 9 has already received the BIS certification hinting at an imminent launch.

Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C India launch may happen at the same time, or sometime later. Redmi 9 will be the mid-end model, expected to launch in India under 10,000. Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A will be budget phones, probably will be priced under Rs 8,000 to Rs 9,000.

The Redmi 9 series phones will come with almost similar features with some changes in terms of hardware. All the three Redmi 9 phones will feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display. Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A will feature an HD+ display only offering a screen resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels.

The Redmi 9 phones will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor, proximity sensor, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and infrared blaster.

Under the hood, Redmi 9A will come with the budget MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, 5,000mAh battery, It will pair with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage onboard.

Redmi 9C is said to run on Helio G35 with 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The already launched Redmi 9 houses the mid-range Helio G80 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage.

The Redmi 9A and 9C models will feature dual nano-SIM slots with a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion of memory up to 512GB. Redmi 9C may come in two variants: Redmi 9C NFC and the other without NFC.

Coming to optics, the entry-level Redmi 9A, it will sport a single 13MP rear camera, while Redmi 9C has a square-shaped camera with a 13MP main camera, a 5MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

Redmi 9 features a four camera setup at the back. The quad rear camera system will come with a 13MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor, 8MP tertiary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, all thr Redmi 9 series phones will feature a 5MP sensor.

As Redmi 9, both Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C will pack a massive 5,000mAh battery. The leak doesn’t include any fast charging support.

Pricing, Launch: Redmi 9A Price, Redmi 9C Price

Redmi 9A price in Malaysia is set at RM 359 (around Rs 6,300). The phone comes in Midnight Gray, Twilight Blue and Peacock Green colours. Redmi 9C price is set at RM 429 (around Rs 7,500) in Malaysia and will be available in the same colours as the Redmi 9A.

Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A could also be a part of the affordable budget Redmi 9 series in the country.

Xiaomi may announce the Redmi 9 series in India in July. Redmi 9A India launch will happen alongside Redmi 9 in the country some days apart or at the same time succeeding Redmi 8A Dual. Redmi 9C India launch is still yet doubtable.
