Air India Will Start 170 International Flights For 17 Countries From July 3rd: Complete Details Here

As a part of the next phase of the Vande Bharat Mission, Air India will be scheduling 170 flights between 17 countries.

We recently reported that Air India scheduled 8 flights between India and Australia as a part of the same Vande Bharat Mission.

170 Flights Scheduled By Air India: Fourth Phase Of Air India To Begin Soon

The Vande Bharat mission was initiated on May 6 by the government in order to help people who have been stranded due to the flights being suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown imposed, therefore. 

Under the fourth phase of this mission, Air India has announced that they will be scheduling 170 flights that will travel from India to Canada, the US, the UK, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Thailand, South Africa, Russia, Australia, Myanmar, Japan, Ukraine, and Vietnam. 

These flights will be running between the time period of July 3 and July 15 as stated by the airline’s document. 

Additionally, a total of 38 flights will travel on the Indo UK route and 32 flights will travel on the indo-us routes. About 26 flights will travel between India and Saudi Arabia. 

495 Chartered Flights To Travel; US bans Air India?

Air India will also operate 495 chartered flights to and from various countries under the third phase which began on June 10 and will end by July 4th. Air India Express will also fly 300 flights in July wherein 136 will be up to 14th of July and 164 flights will run from 15 July to 31 July. 

We all know that the US Department of Transportation has banned air India from operating chartered flights because the Government of India did not allow American flights to operate between the two countries. 

The aviation ministry has announced that establishing individual bilateral bubbles is being considered by allowing the airlines of the US, the UK, Germany, and France.

The Government had announced the suspension of all flights, international and domestic, about two months ago, when the coronavirus disease started spreading high and low.
