Redmi 9 will feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display offering a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. Redmi 9 will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, Redmi 9 will house the mid-range Helio G80 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

Redmi 9 feature a dual nano-SIM slots with a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion of memory up to 512GB. Redmi 9 will have a four camera setup at the back.

The quad rear camera system on Redmi 9 has a 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The additional sensors include an 8MP 118 degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Up front Redmi 9 features an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Redmi 9 will be available in Carbon Black, Mordecin, Neon Blue and Lotus Root Powder colour options

Redmi 9 supports Dual 4G VoLTE on both the sims. Redmi 9 is backed by a massive 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It will be able to run for more than a day easily. In India Redmi 9 may ship with the 18W fast charger in the box.

In India, Redmi 9 price may start at Rs 9,999 for the base model with 64GB storage. Redmi 9 price in India for the 128GB model could be Rs 11,999. Redmi 9 in India will be available online via Flipkart and Mi.com including Mi Preferred stores offline.
