Killing Volume: MIUI 12 Causing Low Speaker Volumes?

The Mi forum has been bombarded with complaints of reduction in the speaker volume levels. Multiple users have complained that after installing the latest MIUI 12 firmware, the speaker volume intensity has come down compared to when the devices were running on the previous version.

The company has responded that the audio tuning configuration has not changed since April. Though Xiaomi has started an investigation to solve the issue.

MIUI engineers even scheduled visited customers to compare the loudness of the affected models. The comparison results later were found not to be true. MIUI engineers found the sound levels to be the same.

No Support For New Camera Features: Which Devices Will Support?

MIUI 12 Camera app now comes with a new layout. You can add your favorite camera modes on the forefront with upto 8 camera modes on the front. The menu tab has the pro camera functions with options to choose frame size, shutter delay right and more.
