As per fresh reports coming in, the Telecom Ministry has now ordered BSNL, MTNL, and other private companies to ban all Chinese deals and equipment.

BSNL, MTNL, Other Private Companies To Discontinue Trades With China

We are all aware of the war that is being waged between India and China. There are multiple reasons behind this war, from the YouTube versus TikTok war to the ongoing tensions between the two countries at the border. 

Social media, news channels, and every other platform are filled with posts urging people to Boycott Chinese goods complete with the hashtag boycott China. 

BSNL, MTNL and other private companies often ordered by the telecom ministry make some changes in their conditions in such a way that Chinese companies won’t be able to participate in the tender process. They have also been directed to cancel all the previous tenders for telecom equipment which cannot be used. As per reports, private mobile service providers will be directed to rule out the use of any Chinese equipment that exists at present. This will be officially declared through directors which will also ban any new purchase. 

It is clear that this decision will play a huge role in the 4G upgradation purchases by its subsidiaries. 

Confederation of All India Traders Declares Boycott Of Chinese Goods And Products 

The entire country is undoubtedly enraged at the news of 20 Indian soldiers who lost their lives at the LAC in the Galwan Valley in Eastern Ladakh, and the sentiment of completely banning Chinese products was fuelled further. 

The Confederation of All India Traders has also declare a boycott of Chinese goods which includes 450 imported items such as cosmetics, bags, toys, furniture, footwear, and watches. By doing this the import of Chinese finished goods will be reduced by 13 billion USD which is about rupees 1 lakh crore December 2021.

It was earlier yesterday that India warned China that the “unprecedented” incident at the Galwan valley will have a “serious impact” on the relationship between India and China.
