Patanjali Ayurved To Launch E-commerce Platform OrderMe Soon

Patanjali Ayurved announced the development of its e-commerce platform, OrderMe, very recently. 

The platform has been launched on a pilot basis already, and the company has confirmed that the commercial launch of OrderMe will be coming soon enough.

The leading FMCG company promotes the use and sale of swadesi products, which aligns very much with the Prime Minister’s concept of Make in India. And now, the company has guessed quite correctly that having an online presence will boost their sales. The company expects 20 percent of its revenues to come from the digital channels in the next 2-3 years. 

Patanjali OrderMe’s Launch, Products, And Delivery: All You Need To Know!

The launch of OrderMe will be in a phased manner. In the first phase, the company will work with 1500 exclusive Patanjali stores. In the second and third phases, Patanjali plans to rope in a similar number of stores. 

In addition to groceries, Patanjali will also offer organic fruits and vegetables in a separate category on OrderMe. For this, the company is planning to work with farmers and suppliers to maintain the quality and affordability of the products. 

Patanjali may be working with courier companies like DTDC, Delhivery, and even cable TV operators in order to provide a same day or two hour delivery. 

Patanjali To Create 5 Lakh New Jobs In India: Baba Ramdev

In an interview, Baba Ramdev assured that Ayurveda will help humankind fight the Covid-19 disease. He also said that he intends to help India be ‘Aatmanirbhar’ or self reliant, and will create a movement that will guarantee a creation of 5 lakh new jobs.

He said, “In order to make the country self-reliant on edible oil, be it soya, sunflower, mustard, I will create a movement… in the five-10 years so that we don’t have to rely on others. Through this work, I will give livelihood to more than 5 lakh people.”

He also revealed that with the help of the different projects of Patanjali and Ruchi Soya, he will be able to give a contribution of Rs 1 lakh crore over the next five years.
