The e-commerce companies have resumed deliveries across India with multiple launches expected in May.

The extended lockdown pushed some launches while at the same time the deliveries were halted. India is embracing itself to fight against the pandemic and things are expected to run as earlier from June. Multiple devices are coming to India in June 2020, and they are expected to be available during the same period. 

Here’s the list of the expected upcoming smartphones in June 2020.

OnePlus Z

OnePlus CEO recently confirmed the affordable OnePlus phone. Expected to be called the OnePlus Z, Pete Lau, hinted at the upcoming OnePlus phone in India without giving out the name. OnePlus Z launch date has been tipped to be in July. Expected as the OnePlus 8 Lite, the OnePlus Z launch will happen in June or July. Recently OnePlus Z live images were leaked revealing the complete design.

OnePlus Z will come with a triple camera running on MediaTek Dimensity 1000L SoC. OnePlus Z will primarily target the sub-25,000 category in the country. 

Poco F2 Pro

Poco F2 Pro has been officially unveiled in Europe, expected in India in June or July. Redmi K30 Pro 4G is a remodelled Poco F2 Pro. Poco F2 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with refresh rate of 60Hz. The Poco device is said to be powered by Snapdragon 865 with up to 8GB RAM and 256 storage. Poco F2 Pro has been priced at EUR 499 (around Rs 41,500) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Coming to optics, Poco F2 Pro will have a 20-megapixel pop-up camera and a quad rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary lens. It will house a 4,700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Redmi Note 9

Redmi Note 9 has been spotted on WiFi Alliance, hinting at an India launch soon. Unveiled in China on April 30, India is yet to get the Redmi Note 9. Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout upfront, but on the corner unlike the Redmi Note 9 series. Redmi Note 9 features a four camera setup: a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. 

Redmi Note 9 runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Redmi Note 9 houses a 5,020mAh battery as Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max with support for 18W fast charging. The 18W fast charger will ship with the device.

Realme X3 SuperZoom

Realme X3 SuperZoom has been unveiled in Europe, expected in India in June alongside regular Realme X3. The device will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC. Realme X3 SuperZoom features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate with dual-punch hole cameras. The rear camera system includes a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor with a periscope lens offering 60x digital zoom support.

Upfront, Realme X3 SuperZoom packs a 32MP IMX616 selfie camera with a secondary depth lens.  Realme X3 SuperZoom houses a sizable 4,200mAh battery with support for 30W Dart Flash Charge fast charging.

Poco M2 Pro

Poco M2 Pro was spotted with the M2003J6CI model number and the “gram” codename. The upcoming midrange Poco phone will primarily target the sub-15,000 market with top-end features and specifications. The device was spotted on both Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG databases. Xiaomi recently revived the Poco brand and separated it to relaunch as an independent brand.

Coming to the Poco M2 Pro listing, the Bluetooth SIG data confirms that the upcoming Poco phone will run on MUI 11 and comes with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. The Declaration ID matches with the Redmi Note 9 series.

iQOO Z1 5G

The new iQoo device was unveiled with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ SoC in China recently, expected to come to India in June. iQOO Z1 5G comes with some top-end features such as 144Hz refresh rate, 5G connectivity, triple camera system with support for 4K recording capabilities, 44W fast charging support and more. iQOO Z1 5G is the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ SoC.

iQOO Z1 5G price starts at CNY 2,198 (around Rs 23,430) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The top-end iQOO Z1 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,798 (around Rs 29,820).

Redmi 9A

Redmi 9A may come in June 2020. The launch was expected earlier, but it got pushed due to the lockdown. The company a few weeks back unveiled an upgraded version of the Redmi 8, and now the successor to Redmi 8A Dual is being expected in March, the Redmi 9A. Said to be going against the recently launched Realme C3, Redmi 9A will fight in the budget category offering similar features and functionalities.

Redmi 9A may run on the Helio G70 processor. Redmi 9A will pack a bigger battery, probably the same 5,000mAh battery as Redmi 8A Dual. Redmi 9A will be available in India in the sub-8,000 segment, expected to come with some upgraded features this time.

Oppo Reno 4

Oppo Reno 4 is rumoured to launch in June 2020. Oppo Reno 4 will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Processor running on a sizable large 4,000mAh battery. It will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ screen offering a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels at 409 ppi. Oppo Reno 4 may have a punch-hole display capable of having two cameras inside the capsule shaped camera. Upfront, it could be a 32MP primary sensor with a 2MP depth sensor.

At the back, Oppo Reno 4 will feature a triple camera system comprising of a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary wide angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It will support high dynamic range imaging.

Samsung Galaxy M01, Galaxy M11

Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M11 prices have been leaked, and they are said to come under the Rs 15,000 budget category. Galaxy M01 price will stay under Rs 10,000, while the Galaxy M11 will come at between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. Both the Galaxy phones are now listed on Samsung’s India site which hints at an imminent launch, expected in June. Galaxy M01 will come with Snapdragon 439 SoC, real dual cameras and 4,000mAh battery.

Galaxy M11 will have a 6.4-inch HD+ punch-hole display, triple rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging technology.

Oppo Find X2, Find X2 Pro

The Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro smartphones were unveiled in China earlier this month, and they are expected in India in June 2020. Oppo Find X2 Pro features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display offering a refresh rate of 120Hz with a maximum brightness of 800 nits, HDR10 certified with a pixel density of 513 PPI. It has a 240Hz touch sampling rate on its display.

Oppo Find X2 Pro and Find X2 are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and they come with 65W fast charging technology.

Samsung Galaxy A31 

Samsung Galaxy A31 is coming to India in June. The device will come with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display on top offering a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. At the back, Galaxy A31 will feature a similar camera block on the top left right corner. Samsung Galaxy A31 dons a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Galaxy A31 will be powered by the mid-range MediaTek chip, the Helio P65 processor along with Mali-G52 GPU. 

Samsung Galaxy A31 features a quad-camera setup. The four camera block will have a 48-megapixel primary lens. Upfront Samsung Galaxy A31 will have a 20-megapixel selfie shooter with a sizable 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

Huawei P40 Series

Huawei P40 Pro has been launched, and they are expected to be available in India by the next few weeks. P40 Pro comes with a 52-megapixel main camera, the first for any smartphone. It couples with a 40-megapixel cine shooter and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 125 mm lens. The P40 phones come with punch-hole displays. The leaked images revealed that Huawei P40 will come with a flat screen while the P40 Pro will feature a curved screen, both with big punch-hole cut-outs.

The latest Huawei flagships under the new series were unveiled globally on March 26. Among the top camera phones launching in April, Huawei P40 devices are expected to be available in India in April 2020.

Nokia 5.3

The new Nokia 5.3 is expected in India in June. It comes with a 6.55-inch display running on Snapdragon 665 under the hood. Nokia 5.3 also packs in a four camera system on the back featuring a 13MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide angle shooter, 2MP macro sensor and 2MP depth sensor. Upfront Nokia 8.3 houses a 8MP camera housed in a notch.

The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. Nokia 5.3 runs Android 10 out-of-the-box with guaranteed two years of Android updates. Nokia 5.3 price starts at 189 euros (around Rs 15,100) for the 4GB/64GB model.
