Redmi 10X series has been unveiled in 4G and 5G variants. The budget-focused 5G smartphone from Redmi has a lot to offer in the price point with top-end features on-board. Redmi 10X has been unveiled in both 4G and 5G models with different features on each.

Redmi 10X 5G series is the most affordable 5G smartphone series from the Xiaomi sub-brand.

The Redmi 10X 4G is a remodelled Redmi Note 9. The Redmi 10X series seems like a successor series to Redmi Note 9 series offering 5G connectivity on a budget. Is Redmi Note 10X 5G coming to India?

Redmi 10X 5G Series Specs: Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro 5G

The Redmi 10X 5G series have two phones under the series: Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G. Both the Redmi 10X 5G smartphones feature similar specifications with different rear camera configurations and fast charging technology.

Both the Redmi 10X 5G smartphones support 5G dual networks powered by the mid-range Mediatek 5G chip, the Dimensity 820 chipset.

Redmi 10X series feature a similar design as the Redmi Note 9 Pro series phones.

Starting with the design language, at the back Redmi 10X 5G phones have a premium glass design with four different gradient colour schemes. 

The squarish camera block stays as usual. On top the devices feature a 6.5-inch display with very narrow bezels and a tiny water drop notch instead of a punch-hole camera as Redmi Note 9 Pro series. 

Redmi 10X 5G phones feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display manufactured by Samsung offering Full HD+ resolution. The devices come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, protected by Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides. The display offers a touch response rate of 180Hz with support for HDR10+ colours.

Redmi 10X 5G phones run on MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset. The new mid-range 5G chipset will come with upto 8GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage. The Redmi 5G phones run on MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box.

Coming to optics, Redmi 10X 5G has a 48-megapixel main camera. You get an additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera inside the rear four camera block.

In comparison, on Redmi 10X Pro you have a 5-megapixel macro camera for the 2-megapixel macro camera, a 5-megapixel telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom and additional 30X digital zoom.

Upfront, Redmi 10X 5G features a 16-megapixel selfie camera, while Redmi 10X Pro 5G comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

Both the Redmi 5G phones come with a 4,520mAh battery. Redmi 10X features 22.5W fast charging while, Redmi 10X 5G Pro model gets the upgraded 33W fast charging. 3.5mm headphone jack is there with USB-C port IP53 rating for splashes.

Redmi 10X 4G Specs, Features: Redmi 10X Full Specs

Redmi 10X 4G is basically a remodelled Redmi Note 9. It features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout upfront, but on the corner unlike the Redmi 10X 4G series. Redmi 10X 4G is powered by Helio G85 chipset, the first smartphone to run on the new MediaTek chip. At the back, Redmi 10X 4G packs square shaped quad camera design.

The four camera setup on Redmi 10X 4G sports a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. 

Redmi 10X 4G runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top unlike the 5G models which come with the latest MIUI 12. Redmi 10X 4G houses a 5,020mAh battery as Redmi Note 9 series phones with support for 18W fast charging. The 18W fast charger will ship with the device.

Pricing: Redmi 10X 5G Price, Redmi 10X 5G Pro Price

Redmi 10X 5G price starts at around Rs 17,000 (converted). The base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced 1599 Yuan (around Rs 17,000). The 128GB model with the same 6GB RAM costs 1799 Yuan (around Rs 19,100).

The 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage is priced 2099 Yuan (around Rs 22,300) and finally the top-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 2399 Yuan (around Rs 25,500).

Redmi 10X Pro 5G price is set a little higher. The device comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at 2299 Yuan (around Rs 24,300). The top-end Redmi 10X Pro 5G price with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is 2599 Yuan (around Rs 27,500).
