NITES Already Filed Complaint Against Teleperformance

This is the reason NITES has already filed complaint with Labor Ministry over these unethical firings during the lockdown: Employees cannot go out and search jobs, and suddenly their source of income has been stopped.

Earlier, based on the 1st complaint by NITES, Labor Commissioner office in Maharashtra had even served a notice to the company.

Harpreet Saluja, Founder & General Secretary, National Information Technology Employees Senate NITES said, “At this juncture, when Lockdown 4.0 has started, reputed companies like Teleperformance is ditching their loyal employees, and firing them, reducing their salaries. We have received numerous complaints from these employees, who are feeling helpless right now. They cant apply for new jobs, cant go out, and their company for which they worked so hard, is not helping them. We have filed a complaint with the Honorable Minister and we hope action will be taken.”

Chirag Chheda from American express Process at Teleperformance

Dear sir

This is Chirag Chheda was working for teleperformance in Mumbai deputed to American express, we got a call on 14th May that we are no longer required because Amex had not renewed there contract so we got fired during quarantine, when there is no job hire are going on because of quarantine, we worked day and night there to get business to the company without eating our lunch sometimes, but they didn’t care one time to talk with us nor they thought to give any prior notice, before firing . But even after asking Amex they didn’t gave us proper explanation why we were fired, we are almost 500+ plus who got fired, we have to take care of our families and bills. If this is not solved we would face many problems like can’t able to pay our dues, or EMI and how to survive without job at this time.

This will lead to stress, suicides or many unfortunate thing.

I urge you to support us to get our job back or atleast give us 6 month worth of compensation.

Raju Kumar, B.D.E , HYDERABAD

Dear sir,

This is  RAJU KUMAR   and have been working in the teleperformance company with amex client from 2.6 years.

Suddenly yesterday afternoon I got a call from HR team that my last working day is today only. This has been informed without any prior before. when we asked for the reason they didn’t respond properly and blocked our numbers. We checked with our client company amex too but no proper output.

My total family has dependent on me and if this is the situation how can I feed the food to them and this is totally breaking my family and my heart ?

At this lockdown moment how will we get a job calls or how do we search a job outside. We really need your support and involvement with our management.

Thanks

This is indeed grave injustice to all the employees, and we hope that someone from Teleperformance will read them, and reconsider their decision about layoffs.

After all, maintaining profitibility is not the only reason for a business to exist.
