Realme TV Launch On May 25, Also Spotted On Official Website

Realme TV is all set to launch on May 25 in India. The company CEO confirmed Realme TV and Realme Watch India launch on May 25. The Realme TV recently received Google’s certification for Android TV, also been spotted on the official website. 

Realme Smart TVs will mainly target the budget and mid-range TV market in India.

Realme has lately been heavily diversifying its product portfolio with a wide range of non-smartphone products.

Just as Xiaomi, Realme too will be entering the TV market in India with budget value for money televisions. Just within a year, Xiaomi became the number one TV brand in India, and now Realme is all set to challenge it with its own range of budget smart TVs.

Realme TVs will be available in multiple variants in the country. The company will probably be following the same route as Xiaomi did with Mi Smart TVs.

Realme Smart TVs will be available starting from 32-inch to 65-inch, with different sizes in between as 40-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and more. All the Realme Smart TVs will run on Android with its own OS supporting additional content.

Support for OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar are expected out of the box. Realme TV will support almost all possible OTT content platforms in the country including Alt Balaji, Zee5, Sun Nxt, Hoichoi and more. 

The Realme TV will run on Android with its own UI to support other content.

Realme could unveil as many as 8 new products in China on May 25 which will include Realme Watch, new TWS earbuds, powerbank and more. We may also get a first glimpse of the Realme TV at the event.

Realme Watch Launch On May 25: Specs, Features

The first exclusive look of the Realme Smartwatch we got in the #AskMadhav episode. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth was wearing the Realme Smartwatch, and it has a square-shaped design. Now the new leak reveals more about the design, the features in-depth and construction.

The leaked design reveals thick bezels with a button on the right side. The Realme Watch will have a 1.4? TFT LCD display offering 320×320 resolution. The Realme Smartwatch battery will be a 160mAh unit, expected to offer 7 days of battery life with 24-hour heart rate monitoring. 

The Realme Watch will be IP68 certified with a Bluetooth 5.0 and no GPS. Realme Watch will have an acceleration sensor, a heart rate sensor and also a blood oxygen sensor. 

Realme Watch will run on a proprietary OS with a physical press button for navigation.

The Realme Watch can store data for 7 days without connecting to a smartphone. The Realme Smartwatch will come with five preloaded watch faces. The Realme Watch will be able to do everything as other smartwatches as counting, heart rate monitoring, date and time functions, weather information, stopwatch and other functions.

Realme Watch will support different forms of activities and exercises as outdoor running, walking, swimming, indoor running, outdoor riding, aerobic capacity, strength training, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, indoor riding, yoga, elliptical machine, cricket and such.

The image shared by XDA, the Activity pane within the UI reveals different data like Weather report, Sleep, Heart Rate, Steps and such.

The Realme Watch can control music on your phone. Realme Watch will support Hindi, while support for some other Indian languages are expected later. 

Realme Smartwatch will be available in multiple colour options. The Realme Watch UI is yet to be confirmed, though it doesn’t seem to be built on Android. Some earlier reports hinted at Realme smartwatch being powered by Google WearOS, though an additional skin will be there on top, probably Realme WatchUI.

Major Realme Launch Event On May 25: What To Expect?

Realme will hold a major launch event in China on May 25. The company will unveil multiple products which may also include its first smartwatch, the Realme Watch. Realme will also unveil a new phone, the Realme ‘Blade Runner’ smartphone.

Realme ‘Blade Runner’ is going to be the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition.

Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase confirmed the upcoming launch event on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, where Realme will be introducing as many as eight new products. 

The company CMO also confirmed the upcoming new Realme smartphone, codenamed ‘Blade Runner’.

The leaked image of Realme Blade Runner phone reveals a quad camera setup on the grey colour variant. If you look at the teaser poster, it also reveals multiple products as truly wireless earbuds, power bank and others.

The upcoming Realme truly wireless earbuds are rumoured to be called Realme Buds Neo. The Realme Blade Runner could either be the recently leaked Realme Gaming smartphone or a device under the upcoming Realme X3 series.
