OnePlus 8T Leaked, To Support 65W Fast Charging: Expected Specs, India Price, Launch And More

OnePlus 8T has leaked, and it revealed some crucial details including 65W fast charging support. The company just unveiled the OnePlus 8 series last month, and it doesn’t come with the best fast charging support available on other flagships in the market.

But, things will change with OnePlus 8T series as the company has received safety certification from TUV Rheinland.

OnePlus 8T will support 65W fast charging, spotted by MySmartPrice, which is more than double the fast charging speeds offered by OnePlus 7 series. The OnePlus 8 series also offers 30W fast charging technology with the 30T Warp Fast charger.

OnePlus 8T To Support 65W Fast Charging: 65W SuperDart Charging?

OnePlus has received safety certification from TUV Rheinland, and hence OnePlus 8T series will come with a much higher fast charging technology compared to the existing one. 65W fast charging can help OnePlus 8T juice up fully in less than 30 minutes.

The OnePlus 65W fast charger will be able to charge OnePlus 8T up to 50 percent in less than 15 minutes.

The leaked OnePlus chargers with VCA7JAH, WC1007A1JH, and S065AG model numbers supports 65W power output (10V/6.5A).

Realme X50 Pro 5G already supports 65W SuperDart Charging, one of the fastest wired charging technology available in India and worldwide. Xiaomi is also working on a 100W fast-charging technology, which may launch anytime soon. 

Next OnePlus Launch: OnePlus Z (Specs, Price)

OnePlus Z is going to be the affordable variant of the current OnePlus 8. The company’s first ‘Lite’ model will primarily focus in the mid-range segment. The company did experiment with such one model in early years, remember OnePlus X?

The rumours hint at being the successor, so the upcoming OnePlus device could be called OnePlus Z. Some also tip it to be OnePlus 8 Lite, but the company itself hasn’t yet dropped in any light to it.

As far as the leaks go, OnePlus Z will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display offering a 90Hz refresh rate with a punch-hole on top middle.

OnePlus Z will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 5G SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage. A new leak suggests Snapdragon 765G. The leak at OnePlus Z with Snapdragon 765G and not MediaTek Dimensity 1000 SoC.

The device will run on Android 10 out of the box with OxygenOS. OnePlus Z will come with a triple camera setup at the back.

OnePlus Z will feature a 48-megapixel main lens, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, the OnePlus Z will have a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor, the whole system backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

OnePlus Z launch is said to be happening in July, so it’s just a few weeks away. 

The leaked OnePlus Z price places it somewhere in and around 30,000 category for India. OnePlus Z (OnePlus 8 Lite) price was leaked much earlier by tipster Ishan Agarwal previously gave us a western price of GBP 400 (around Rs 37,500), expected lower in India.
