Reliance Jio, Vodafone Idea, and Bharti Airtel are the leading telecom operators in India now, and are quite at loggerheads with offering data saving plans for their customers.

But are their services worth the money?

A report has been released that reveals the quality of network that the three companies offer, and it analyzes the three companies in various aspects, such as ideo experience, voice app experience, download speed experience and more.

Among Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone, which one takes the prize and for what? Let’s find out!

Airtel Is #1 In Video Experience

A mobile analytics company, OpenSignal, has released its Mobile Experience Awards report that shows the comparison between Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea. The analytics firm has assessed  the mobile network experience for a time span of 90 days that commenced on December 1, 2019.

The analytics firm revealed, “We recorded the highest increase on its network, as the operator boosted its score to close the gap on the market leader. This means that users on both these networks now experience faster video load times and fewer interruptions during playback while streaming videos on their smartphone using mobile data services.”

As per the reports, Airtel has emerged as the winner in terms of video experience, voice app experience, download speed experience, and latency experience.

This report suggests that Reliance Jio has slowed down in 4G speed, as in both video experience and download speed, Jio has not been able to score much.

Jio #1 In 4G Availability

On the other hand, Reliance Jio excelled in 4G availability and 4G coverage experience, but OpenSignal also shows that Vodafone and Idea have begun to improve their performance in the same fields.

The report states, “Measured on a scale of 0-10, it analyzes the locations where customers of a network operator received a 4G signal relative to the locations visited by Opensignal users of all networks.”

The report also reveals that the overall download speeds improved over 1.5 Mbps to 9.5 Mbps and 9.2 Mbps respectively, and Airtel’s download speed experience has grown by nearly half a megabit.
