iPhone 9 is said to be available via JD.com, the popular Chinese e-commerce site via a placeholder page. It’s the same iPhone SE 2020, and iPhone 9 could be going up for sale in a few days from now.

Apple iPhone 9 launch will happen on April 15, while the sales are said to start on April 22.

Apple hasn’t yet officially confirmed whether the iPhone launch will be postponed or not, it seemed quite probably as of now. iPhone 9 Plus exists as per the iOS 14 code, and the launch could happen in mid-April.

The iPhone 9 launch could finally be happening on April 15, while the sales may start from April 22. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to grow across the globe, Apple could be holding an online-only event for the iPhone 9 launch.

iPhone 9 Plus may launch alongside iPhone 9 as per some reports.

While the company will probably push the launch to a later date, as a compensation, we could be getting an iPhone 9 Plus as a bonus.

The recent COVID 19 breakout has pushed the current production schedule by two to four weeks.

iPhone 9, iPhone 9 Plus: Expected Specs, Features 

iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus will come with the specs and features as iPhone 11, but at a cheaper price tag. Some reports suggest it to be iPhone SE 2, while some hint at being iPhone 9. Leaving the nomenclature apart, let’s check out the details.

Said to be a rip-off as iPhone SE, the iPhone 9 will target the entry premium market with similar specs as the current iPhone 11. According to the latest reports, iPhone 9 will launch officially in India and other markets at a very attractive price tag. 

The renders hint at as similar features as iPhone 11, sporting a 4.7-inch display with an iPhone 8 like design. iPhone 9 Plus will have a larger 5.5-inch display.

The iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2 will basically offer a refreshed experience with the same body and design.

The device will come with a single main camera, probably the 12-megapixel camera as the current iPhone 11 series. Up front, iPhone 9 will have thick bezels on both sides with a physical home button, same as iPhone 8. 

iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2 will have a single camera inside the circular module as on iPhone 8.

With iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus, Apple will just fill in the gap here, and will target users who want to upgrade to a new iPhone, but want the same iPhone 7-like design. 

The upcoming iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus is expected to be powered by the latest Apple A13 Bionic chip with a 12-megapixel main camera as a single rear sensor and the same front-facing camera. 

iPhone 9 Plus To Launch With iPhone 9?

As reported by 9to5Mac, Apple is working on two new iPhone 9 models which includes a larger iPhone 9 Plus as well. While the iPhone 9 will come with the same old iPhone 8 design featuring a 4.7-inch LCD and TouchID.

The iPhone 9 Plus may have a similar shape and design as iPhone 8 Plus.

The code in iOS 14 reveals a larger 5.5-inch model, which is incidentally the same as iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus. Both iPhone 9 and iPhone 9 Plus will run with the latest A13 Bionic chip as the current iPhone 11 phones. 

Dubbed as iPhone SE 2 series, the upcoming iPhone 9 devices will primarily target the entry premium segment with the same old iPhone charm with latest specs and features. iPhone 9 and 9 Plus are expected to launch sometime by the first half of 2020.

iPhone 9 Price In India: To Cost Under Rs 30,000?

While there’s already a lot out in the air, nothing officially has been confirmed by the company. Apple has given out hints in the past, but nothing has happened ever since. Apple will launch iPhone 9 in 2020, probably in a few weeks.

Coming to iPhone 9 price in India, iPhone 9 may work well in India in the entry premium segment at around Rs 30,000.

iPhone 9 Plus India price is expected to start at around Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000.
