Dekh Bhai Dekh Timings

Doordarshan has confirmed that you can watch the popular comic show Dekh Bhai Dekh at 6PM daily on DD National. Dekh Bhai Dekh has been a popular hit back then which tells a story between the three generations of the Diwan family and incidents happening around.

Dekh Bhai Dekh features Shekhar Suman alongside Farida Jalal, Sushma Seth, Navin Nischol, Urvashi Dholakia, Bhavana Balsavar and Deven Bhojani.

Shriman Shrimati Timings

Shriman Srimati has been confirmed to be telecasted on Doordarshan. Shriman Srimati will be aired at 4PM daily on Doordarshan. The classic Hindi sitcom was aired on Doordarshan from 1994 to 1999. The show starred Jatin Kanakia, Rakesh Bedi, Reema Lagoo and Archana Puran Singh in the lead roles.

Shriman Srimati was written by Ashok Patole, directed by Rajan Waghdhare and produced by Adhikari brothers.

Shaktimaan Timings

Doordarshan is bringing another cult classic back, the popular superhero show “Shaktimaan”. Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna who played the title character confirmed. The timings are not yet confirmed for Shaktimaan, but it’s coming very soon.

After “Ramayana”, “Mahabharat”, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Circus” and “Byomkesh Bakshi”, it’s Shaktimaan coming back on DD National.

Shaktimaan and his alter ego “Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri”, a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz originally ran on DD 1 from 1997 to 2005.

Ramayana Timings

Ramayana was directed by Ramanand Sagar, and was originally broadcasted from 25 January to 31 July 1988. It featured Arun Govil as Ram, Deepika Chikhalia as Sita, Sunil Lahri as Lakshman, Arvind Trivedi as Ravana and Late Dara Singh as Hanuman.

Ramayana Re-Telecast: Two episodes of Ramayana will be telecasted every day.

Ramayana Re-Telecast Timings: Morning from 9AM to 10PM

Evening from 9PM to 10PM.

Mahabharat Timings

The very popular BR Chopra’s Mahabharat, the DD classic from the last century era is being telecasted on DD Bharati. Mahabharat was originally telecasted from October 2, 1988 to June 24, 1990.

Mahabharat featured Gajendra Chauhan, Praveen Kumar, Arjun, Sameer Chitre and Sanjeev Chitre as the Pandavas.

It also starred Nitish Bharadwaj as Krishna, Mukesh Khanna as Bhishma Pitamah and Punit Issar portrayed the role of Duryodhan while Roopa Ganguly played the role of Draupadi.

Mahabharat Re-Telecast: Two episodes of Mahabharat will be telecasted every day.

Mahabharat Re-Telecast Timings: Noon from 12PM

Evening from 7PM.

Byomkesh Bakshi Timings

Doordarshan also confirmed the return of the popular detective show Byomkesh Bakshi directed by Basu Chatterjee. The main character is played by Rajit Kapur is based on the famous Bengali sleuth character created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay.

Byomkesh Bakshi Re-Telecast: One episode of Byomkesh Bakshi will be telecasted every day.

Byomkesh Bakshi Re-Telecast Timings: Morning from 11AM.

Circus Timings

Circus, directed by Aziz Mirza and Kundan Shah is also coming back on DD National. It marked superstar Shahrukh Khan’s second outing on the small screen before he turned to Bollywood. The show also stars Renuka Shahane and Ashutosh Gowarikar.

Circus Re-Telecast: One episode of Circus will be telecasted every day.

Circus Re-Telecast Timings: Evening from 8PM

You can watch Ramayan on mobile by downloading the official DD National app called ‘NewsOnAir’. The ‘NewsOnAir’ app is available on both Android and iOS. You can directly telecast the episodes on the DD National app.

You can download the DD TV Android app and will need the dongle to work with it to stream DD TV without internet. Tv-On-Go Doordarshan app is available on Play store, and it can directly stream the channels to your smartphone, laptop.

You will be needing an additional device, a dongle or Wi-Fi device. 

There are dongles available for mobile reception. You can buy them directly from e-commerce stores as Amazon and Flipkart. You can get a dedicated DVB-T2 Dongle required to stream the DD TV on mobile without internet, orelse the WiFi router is enough.
