In a noble gesture, every telecom operator in India has decided to extend validity and also give additional talktime to all prepaid users.

This has been done to help their customers deal with the lockdown imposed due to coronavirus, across India.

Airtel: Validity Extended Till April 17th, Rs 10 Talktime

For 8 crore users, Airtel has announced their mobile connection will not be disconnected, even if they don’t recharge their number.

This validity extension is applicable till April 17th, for all prepaid users. This means hat they will continue to receive calls, and their numbers wont be suspended.

Besides, Rs 10 free talktime is also being provided to all prepaid users. 

Jio: Validity Extended, 100 Bonus Minutes Of Talktime

Jio too has announced that their users’ numbers wont be suspended, if they don’t recharge their numbers. We are not sure till which dates this validity extension will work, but definitely April 17th is the assumed date.

Besides, every user will get 100 minutes of free minutes and 100 SMSes, which can be used across India. These 100 free minutes and 100 free SMSes are valid till April 17th.

Vodafone: Validity Extended Till April 17th, Rs 10 Bonus

Vodafone India too is providing free validity extension till April 17th for all prepaid users. This means that the numbers of 10 crore Vodafone users will not be suspended, even if they don’t recharge.

Besides, Rs 10 free talktime is being provided for all users, to deal with the lockdown.

However, Vodafone’s offer is only valid for those users, who have a feature phone.

BSNL: Validity Extended Till April 20th, Rs 10 Free Talktime

State-run telecom carrier has also extended the validity of all prepaid users till April 20th. Hence, BSNL users whose plans have expired need not recharge their numbers till April 20th.

Rs 10 free talktime is also being provided to all users, across India.

It’s really encouraging to see all telecom providers coming together, and announcing plans and offers, to help every India manage their communications, in these hard times.
