IT and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar recently announced that the popular DD show ‘Ramayan’ by BR Chopra will again be telecasted. The initial run of the show ended in 1988 on DD National.

DD TV will re-telecast Ramayan from today, March 28 on DD National. One episode in morning 9AM to 10AM, another in the evening 9PM to 10PM.

Recently the original Ramayan cast made an appearance on the popular The Kapil Sharma Show earlier this month. The show was written, produced and directed by Ramanand Sagar.
