The company did quite well with Redmi K20 Pro in the entry premium segment, and Mi 10 can be a perfect competitor to the upcoming OnePlus 8 series.

Even Realme has been bringing smartphones in the flagship range, Xiaomi’s top competitor in India. Mi 10 in India puts Xiaomi in a strategic position to encash the opportunity in the 40,000-category.

The company has been teasing it’s 108MP camera in India since months, and finally we will be getting the first 108MP camera smartphone in the country. Do note, only Mi 10 is coming to India, and not the Mi 10 Pro as the original series.

Mi 10 in India will be available in a 5G variant as well apart from the other models including 4G support. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Mi 10 in India.

Xiaomi Mi 10: Specs, Features

As Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 also features a 6.67-inch 90Hz OLED 1080p display along with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. Under the hood, Mi 10 runs on the same Snapdragon 865 SoC with upto 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Mi 10 has a quad rear camera setup as well with 108-megapixel main sensor.

The four camera module on Mi 10 further includes 2MP sensors with a 13MP f/2.4 wide-angle lens.

Mi 10 has a bigger 4,780mAh battery with support for 30W fast-charging technology. Mi 10 supports 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Mi 10 Price In India, Mi 10 India Launch

Mi 10 price starts at RMB 3,999 in China, which roughly translates to around Rs 41,000 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The mid-end model has 8GB RAM loaded with 256GB storage priced at RMB 4,299 (around Rs 44,050).

Finally the 12GB RAM model with 256GB storage is priced at RMB 4,699 (around Rs 47,950). 

Mi 10 India price is expected to start at 39,999 in India or somewhere close to it. Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro have been available in China since February.

Xiaomi has been expanding in the entry premium segment in the last one year, and finally Mi 10 India launch will happen on March 31. The company will unveil the device in India through an online-only event amidst COVID-19 outbreak.
