Amazing news for all the Oppo Fans out there! Oppo has confirmed its Oppo Find X2 launch date: March 6! Oppo is also rumoured to launch its first smartwatch on the same date!

Oppo confirmed in an online post, it will officially be launched on March 6 at an event in China. Previously, the smartphone was scheduled to launch on February 22 at the MWC Barcelona event but got postponed following threats over coronavirus. The online post on Weibo added, the launch will take place at 5 PM, Beijing time (2.30 PM IST).

After Oppo Find X Big Expectations From Oppo Find X2!

The specifications of Oppo Find X2 are not unveiled, although according to the leaks, a fair idea of what to expect from the phone is clear. 

Last week, the smartphone had also shown up on a Vietnamese retailer website, Shopee, which listed its alleged specifications. As per the specs on the website, the phone has a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, 8GB RAM, 256GB onboard storage, triple camera setup on the back, and a 32-megapixel front camera.

The Oppo Find X2 has been teased to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, a 2K 120Hz OLED display, and 65W Super VOOC fast charging technology that was recently introduced by Realme on the X50 Pro 5G. Find X2 will reportedly also feature 4,065mAh battery, USB Type-C port, and no audio jack. The listing also stated that the Oppo Find X2 will come with ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 out of the box. 

Shopee listed the smartphone at roughly Rs. 1,23,700. Currently, Oppo Find X, was launched in India in June 2018, priced at Rs. 59,990. Oppo Find X’s had taken the industry by awe and surprise as it was one of the first phones with a motorised camera pop-up design.

According to reports, the company might release its first smartwatch alongside the Find X2. We will get the full details and pricing of the Oppo Watch likely on March 6, 2020.

The teaser image shared by Oppo VP Brian Shen on Twitter showed an Apple Watch like design. The Oppo Watch will exhibit a curved display with 3D glass on top and have two physical buttons on the side. A freshly leaked image is claimed to look like the 3D glass that is mounted on the smartwatch.
