Amazing news for all the Oppo Fans out there! Oppo Reno 3 Pro launch is expected soon!

Amazon and Flipkart both have teased the launch of the Oppo Reno 3 Pro in India. The company launched promo pages of the new smartphone indicating its debut in the Indian market.

Originally, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro was launched in China in the late 2019 in a 5G variant, while its India model recently got an official confirmation with only 4G support. The smartphone is geared with a dual hole-punch selfie camera setup.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro is assumed to launch in the country as early as this month.

Here is all the information so far about Oppo Reno 3 Pro…

The Showstopper: Dual Lens Bokeh Front Camera

The text provided along with the teaser available on Flipkart read, “Introducing Dual Punch Hole Camera in Oppo Reno 3 Pro. It helps create dream-like images with Dual Lens Bokeh.” The Indian version of the Oppo Reno 3 Pro is set to come with a Binocular Bokeh Effect that will create sharp edges along with a gradient background.

Earlier this week, Tasleem Arif, Vice President and India R&D Head of Oppo, revealed the launch of the Reno 3 Pro and made its Expert Camera credentials prominent.

To put an emphasis on the dual selfie camera of the Reno 3 Pro a video starring Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal has been posted on the Oppo India YouTube channel.

Reportedly, the smartphone would come with a 44-megapixel primary sensor.

Hardware, Storage and Pricing

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro introduced in China came with a pricing of roughly Rs. 41,000 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option carried a price tag of roughly Rs. 46,000. The price tag for Indian Market is not yet unveiled.

It is not yet revealed whether the India version would include a different chipset and processor over what was launched in China to debut with 4G specifications.  Since the Indian 5G network is nowhere near as developed as the Chinese, the new device is expected to have a 4G chipset. Oppo brought the Reno 3 Pro in China with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC that has an integrated 5G model.
