The battle of flagships is getting intense.

While Realme already has Realme X50 in works, the Realme X2 Pro is still a worthy contender to the other recent flagships of 2020. So, can Realme X2 Pro beat Mi 10 Pro, the current top smartphone by Xiaomi?

Design, Display: Mi 10 Pro vs Realme X2 Pro

Mi 10 Pro features a 6.67-inch 90Hz AMOLED 1080p curved display along with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. The smartphone features a complete glass body with curved panels on the sides.

Realme X2 Pro features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED 90Hz display offering a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Both sides of the device are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Realme X2 Pro sports a water drop notch and not a punch-hole as Mi 10 Pro.

Coming to the major USP on both the smartphones, they offer 90Hz refresh rate display. Realme X2 Pro has a 90Hz Super AMOLED display, while Mi 10 Pro dons a curved AMOLED panel with higher screen to body ratio.

Hardware, Storage: Mi 10 Pro vs Realme X2 Pro

Realme X2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 855+ processor and an Adreno 640 GPU. Realme X2 Pro is the first Realme smartphone to be powered by any top-level Qualcomm processor or any Snapdragon 800-series chip.

Realme X2 Pro with Snapdragon 855 Plus offers gaming-centric features coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

In comparison, Mi 10 Pro runs on the latest flagship chip by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865 SoC with upto 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. There won’t be any phenomenal difference between the two given hardcore performance and multitasking.

Cameras: Mi 10 Pro vs Realme X2 Pro

Mi 10 Pro has a quad rear camera setup featuring the much-hyped 108-megapixel primary sensor. The four camera setup has the 108MP main camera, a 12MP short telephoto lens, 8MP long telephoto lens and a 20MP ultra wide-angle lens.

Upfront, Mi 10 Pro sports a 20MP single shooter. Mi 10 Pro now has the highest score of 124 on DxOMark. 

Realme X2 Pro also comes with a quad camera system at the back featuring a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor with 20X hybrid zoom and three additional lenses for different purposes. Realme X2 Pro has 64MP Samsung GW1 lens as its main sensor.

The other three lenses are a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP super wide-angle lens, and a macro lens. Upfront, Realme X2 Pro has a 16MP camera.

Software, UI: Realme X2 Pro vs Mi 10 Pro

Realme X2 Pro runs on the latest Android 10 with the recently unveiled Realme UI on top. On the other hand, Mi 10 Pro runs on the latest version of MIUI 11 based on Android 10. Both come loaded with multiple features and added customizations.

Realme UI has just been unveiled, and it has been mostly received well by critics and masses.

Battery: Realme X2 Pro vs Mi 10 Pro

Realme X2 Pro comes with 50W Super VOOC FlashCharge support. It’s the Oppo’s 50W Super VOOC fast charging support. With 50W SuperVOOC fast charging, Realme X2 Pro can be charged fully in just 30 to 35 minutes.

Realme X2 Pro packs a sizable 4,000mAh battery.

Mi 10 Pro houses a larger 4,500mAh battery with a similar 50W fast charging tech support. The smartphone also supports 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging technology.

Pricing, Availability: Realme X2 Pro vs Mi 10 Pro

Mi 10 Pro price in China starts at RMB 4,999 (around Rs 51,050) for base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The top-end Mi 10 Pro model features 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and has been priced at RMB 5,999 (around Rs 61,000).

It’s not yet available in India, while Realme X2 Pro is available in India from November 2019.

Realme X2 Pro in India is available in three variants, the base model with 64GB storage sells at Rs 27,999. The mid-end 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 29,999 and the top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at Rs 33,999.

Mi 10 Pro India Launch: Will Mi 10 Series Come To India?

Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be available in China from February 14. Xiaomi generally doesn’t launch flagships in India. Will Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro launch in India? That’s an answer many would want to know about.

Xiaomi India has always been on the back foot when it comes to bringing flagships in India. It’s still questionable whether Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro will launch in India or not.

But given how the company has been expanding in the entry premium segment in the last one year, Mi 10 India launch may happen eventually. 

If the Mi 10 series comes to India, the Mi 10 flagships may launch in India in a few months, maybe by April or May, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet. Redmi K30 Pro is also expected during the same period.
