While Realme calls it’s latest Budget release Realme C3 Entertainment Ka Superstar, Redmi will be calling Redmi 9A Desh Ka Dumdaar Smartphone. The company has been quite successful in the sub-5,000 category.
Redmi 9A vs Realme C3: Redmi 9A Against Realme C3, The Big Fight?
The growing competition in the category does throw Redmi 9A some big challenges, but Xiaomi seems to have the perfect answer this time. The last couple of successors to the Redmi A budget series have done fair, while Realme C series smartphones did extremely well.
The latest fight between Realme C3 and Redmi 9A in the budget category will be between pricing and features each has to offer.
The company has shared a teaser, but hasn’t confirmed which smartphone.
Xiaomi is expected to launch Redmi 9A on February 11. Xiaomi calls it’s upcoming phone “Desh Ka Dumdaar Smartphone.” Going back, the company used the same tagline for the predecessor, the Redmi 8A.
For now, it’s pretty sure that Xiaomi India will launch Redmi 9A in India on February 11, though the company is yet to officially confirm it. The teaser is out, and Xiaomi will definitely be launching its latest smartphone in India on February 11.
Redmi 9A Specs, Features: Full HD+ Display, 5,000mAh Battery?
The teaser by Xiaomi doesn’t give out much details, but it directly hints at a massive battery. Saying how the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will give more power to you, Redmi 9A will boast top features on-board with a huge battery.
Currently Redmi 9A comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi 9A will come with a similar design and display as Redmi 8A with some internal upgrades.
The teaser says #MorePowerToRedmi, so Redmi 9A may come with a more powerful processor. Redmi 8A currently is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset, which also powering the predecessor smartphone, Redmi 7A.
Going by the teaser, Redmi 9A will launch with a sizable 5,000mAh battery. Both Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A packs a 5,000mAh battery, and are currently available in India. Each smartphone supports 18W fast charging with a USB-C port
Redmi 9A Launch On February 11: To Be Priced Under 7,000?
Redmi 9A launch will happen on February 11 in India, as given in the teaser. Redmi 9A will directly challenge the just launched Realme C3, which also comes with similar features as 5,000mAh battery, budget gaming-centric processor and Realme UI based on Android 10.

Coming to pricing, Redmi 9A price is expected under Rs 7,000 in India. Redmi 8A is currently available starting at Rs 6,999, and the same is expected with Redmi 9A. The Redmi 9A price may start at Rs 6,999 for the base model with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage.
