Ever since Netflix, Hotstar, Amazon Prime, with their inexpensive plans, have been launched in India, it hasn’t been much of a difficulty for them to hypnotize the public of India.

A study by Healthify, which is an Indian digital weight loss platform that provides fitness services, has revealed that these channels have been the top sources of causing sleep deprivation in the country, which in turn has resulted in a decline in the physical fitness and well being. Second and third in line are long working hours and easy access to junk food.

The study was conducted among 500 nutritionists and trainers with the intention to get an estimate of diet and workout trends of Indians in the year 2019.
