After all speculations and rumors, Xiaomi has confirmed that the successor of immensely successful Redmi K20: Redmi K30 is launching next month, that is December.

During the Xiaomi Developers Conference in Beijing, CEO Lei Jun revealed this information.

Redmi K30 will be 5G powered, and this also has been confirmed.

Not only this, but Xiami will launch 10 more 5G powered smartphones in 2020!

Redmi K30 Is Launching Next Month

Resting aside all speculations, it is now confirmed that Redmi K30 will launch in December, in China.

No details about India launch has been shared.

Speculations are rife that Redmi K30 can have a global launch as well, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Redmi K30 Pro, the higher and more powerful variant of Redmi K30 will launch in 2020, as per the rumors.

Redmi K30 Leaked Specs

Earlier, we had reported about possible leaks of Redmi K30 smartphone.

Although it is now confirmed that Redmi K30 will be 5G powered, but the specs have been kept under wraps. As per the leaked information available, Redmi K30 will be powered with Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be launched by Qualcomm on December 3rd.

SD 865 processor is even more powerful than SD 855 processor, and has Snapdragon X55 baseband, which supports 5G connectivity.

Due to this advanced processor, Redmi K30 will support both NSA and SA dual-mode 5G connectivity.

108 MP Camera Setup?

However, the biggest USP of Redmi K30 is penta-camera setup, with 108 MP camera being the main attraction.

This is not yet confirmed. Earlier, rumors were in that this smartphone will be 64 MP camera.

A punch-hole design is also rumored for K30, and 36MP selfie camera , coupled with 26MP secondary camera will be on the front.

120 Hz display for K30 smartphone is also another very strong possibility.

In China, Redmi K30 will be priced under Rs 25,000, as per reports. However, Xiaomi CEO also stated that all Xiaomi phones priced over 2,000 Yuan or Rs 20,000, will have 5G support, by default.
