While Realme is gearing up to launch its first ever flagship in India, Xiaomi shorten the fun for the former. Realme X2 Pro may soon become the most attractive entry premium flagship in India surpassing Redmi K20 Pro, but Xiaomi has a big surprise ready, and it’s the much-awaited Poco F2.

Xiaomi Poco F2 has been listed by Spigen, and the launch expected to be imminent.

Redmi K20 Pro has already been a hit in the country, but the recently unveiled Realme X2 Pro is now set to launch in India with some of the first-time ever specs at this price. But Xiaomi has a strong reply ready for Realme, the successor to the very popular Poco F1.

Poco F2 vs Realme X2 Pro: Can Xiaomi Pull Off Another Winner?

Spigen’s listing confirms that Poco F2 exists, and it’s in the making. The Xiaomi sub-brand till now has remained exclusive to India and some other countries except, and hence the chances of it being a re-branded Redmi K20 Pro are thin.

If you remember, Poco F1 became the most popular entry premium flagship last year after the launch.

It still remains a sought after smartphone in the under 20000 category. Poco F1 is also the cheapest Snapdragon 845 smartphone in the world. Poco F2 similarly become the most affordable flagship in the entry premium category.

Poco F1 was able to dampen the OnePlus 6T sales and emerged as a winner in the category, and hence Poco F2 can do the same to the upcoming Realme X2 Pro.

Many have started to dub Realme X2 Pro as the most promising flagship which can even beat OnePlus 7T. Realme will definitely be taking away the limelight from Redmi K20 Pro with it’s upcoming X2 Pro, but with the Poco F2 news out, Realme may not have the path that easy.

Most the ‘features and specifications’ are expected to be similar as Realme X2 Pro, but it will be very aggressively priced. Realme X2 Pro is also highly compatible with Redmi K20 Pro in terms of specs, but there are a few better additional features on the X2 Pro, which Poco F2 may fill up.

Realme X2 Pro vs Poco F2: Who Will Win?

Poco F2 will come with a notch-less AMOLED display unlike Realme X2 Pro. Poco F2 will have a similar design Redmi K20 Pro featuring a glass body with a pop-up sensor on top. Realme X2 Pro will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides with a water drop notch.

Poco F2 have an advantage with an all-screen design and a pop-up. But Realme X2 Pro will come with a 90Hz refresh rate display. Both the smartphones will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Poco F2 will feature a triple-camera setup, similar to the Redmi K20 Pro. The leaked details show two sensors stacked vertically, while the third sensor above the two lenses.

Realme X2 Pro will come with a quad camera system at the back featuring a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor with 20X hybrid zoom and three additional lenses for different purposes. Realme X2 Pro includes a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with three lenses: 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP super wide-angle lens, and a macro lens.

Realme X2 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 855+ processor and an Adreno 640 GPU, and the same chip is expected on Poco F2. Both Poco f2 and Realme X2 Pro will be the first smartphone from each company to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus.

Realme X2 Pro will come with 50W Super VOOC FlashCharge support backed by a sizeable 4,000mAh battery. With 50W SuperVOOC fast charging, Realme X2 Pro can be charged fully in just 30 to 35 minutes. Poco F2 will come with a similar sized battery, but probably will support 30W fast charging only.

Poco F2 vs Realme X2 Pro: Pricing, India Launch

Realme X2 Pro has already been launched, and the pricing is expected to be similar. Realme X2 Pro India price is expected somewhere around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000, in line with Realme X2 Pro China pricing. The device will be unveiled officially in India on November 20.

Poco F2, on the other hand is yet to be confirmed by Xiaomi. The recent leaks hint at the existence, thus the launch is expected to be imminent.

Poco F2 India launch may happen by the end of the year if the leaks are true. Coming to Poco F2 India price, it’s going to be very reasonable. It will follow the same legacy as Poco F1, and the successor may be priced somewhere around Rs 20000 to Rs 22000 in the country.
