Realme is currently India’s one of the most favourite smartphone brands, and their smartphones are selling like hot cakes. Realme also recently became the fastest growing online smartphone brand in the world.

5 Upcoming Realme Smartphones: Realme 6, Realme 5S, Realme X2 Pro, Realme X2, Realme 5G Smartphone

Realme has been in business just a little over a year, but has successfully placed itself as one of the biggest competitors.

Realme currently have smartphones in entry-level budget devices to mid-range smartphones and set to enter the entry flagship space.

The company will be expanding aggressively in the next few months with some top-level smartphones including entry-premium flagships. Here are the upcoming Realme smartphones set to launch in late 2019 and early 2020.

Realme 6

Realme 6 will come with a penta camera setup at the back. The current four cameras will remain standard  Realme 6 will come with a primary camera sensor, ultra wide angle lens, macro lens and a depth sensor for portrait shots and a fifth additional lens. It could be a ToF sensor on Realme 6 for depth mapping or a dedicated zoom lens for enhanced digital zooming. The company is known to bring in flagship features to budget smartphones, so Realme 6 may also offer similar high-end zooming functionalities. 

Realme 6 will have five cameras at the back with different sensors for different purposes. Realme 6 will run on a more enhanced processor, the Snapdragon 710. Based on an 10nm architecture, the SoC will be able to offer top level performance on a budget.

Realme 6 Pro

Realme 6 Pro will also come with a five camera system and a mid-range Qualcomm flagship processor, expected to be Snapdragon 730. As Realme 6, the Realme 6 Pro will also come with a penta camera system at the back. As the previous generations, Realme 6 series will also include two smartphones: Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. The fifth camera sensor will offer high-end zooming functions with dedicated periscope infused zoom lens with in-depth zooming functionalities. The fifth additional lens on Realme 6 Pro could be a ToF sensor as well, and we need to wait to see what’s in there for real.

Realme 6 Pro is expected to run on Qualcomm’s mid-range flagship chip, Snapdragon 730 processor. Currently Realme 5 Pro runs on Snapdragon 712 SoC. Snapdragon 730 is built on an 8nm process with Kryo 470 octa-core CPU paired with Adreno 618 GPU. Realme 6 Pro will launch in India at under 15000.

Realme 5S

The upcoming Realme budget smartphone is going to be another version of the current Realme 5S. The company already has a wide lineup in the budget segment, and presently Realme 5 is the most affordable quad camera smartphone in the country. Realme 5S have already received the BIS certification, hence the India launch seems imminent. It was spotted on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) records.

Realme 5S will come with a similar quad camera setup, but with some downgraded internals to keep the price below Realme 5. The Realme 5S will launch at a very aggressive pricing, probably at the price of Realme 3 to take on smartphones in the sub-8,000 segment.

Realme X2 Pro

Realme X2 Pro has been unveiled in China, and the device is launching on November 20. The new Realme flagship runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus platform. Realme X2 Pro is Realme’s first premium flagship in the entry-level premium space. Realme X2 Pro features a number of first-time features for a Realme smartphone as 90Hz fluid AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855+, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Certified Hi-Res Sound Quality support.

X2 Pro also packs in 50W VOOC Super Fast Charging support, 64MP quad camera with 20X zoom and more. Realme X2 Pro India launch will happen in December alongside Realme XT 730G. Realme X2 Pro India price is expected under 30,000 rupees in the entry premium flagship space.

Realme X2 / Realme XT 730G

Realme XT 730G India launch has been confirmed alongside Realme X2 Pro. The new Realme XT will come with Snapdragon 730G with almost the same features as the current XT model. Realme XT 730G will feature an AMOLED screen, quad camera system, 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, in-display fingerprint sensor and the big battery will be there as it is. Snapdragon 730G features an improved Adreno 618 GPU and has special gaming-centric features to offer an enhanced flagship-level gaming experience.

The rear cameras on Realme XT 730G will remain the same as the standard Realme XT. But this time Realme XT 730G edition will support faster fast charging at 30W. Realme XT 730G will come with 30W VOOC FlashCharge support and an improved 32MP camera upfront inside the notch with Realme OS based on Android 10 expected.

Realme 5G Smartphone

The company will also launch a budget 5G smartphone. We don’t know whether it’s going to be a seperate smartphone, or a just a 5G variant of an existing model. As other companies, it also may just add a 5G variant to the list like Realme X Pro 5G. The names are just the leaks, and the official details are not out yet. The Realme 5G smartphone will launch in China first.

Though, the company has officially confirmed that they are making a 5G smartphone, the launch dates are yet to be confirmed. The Realme 5G smartphone will also launch in India once the 5G infrastructure is ready.
