Realme 5S India Launch: Top Features, Price, Specs, Availability [Color OS 7, Quad Cameras, Fast Charging]

Realme will soon be adding another smartphone to its budget product line in the country, another variant of the current superhit Realme 5 budget smartphone, Realme 5S. The present Realme 5 is the most affordable quad camera smartphone in the country.

Realme 5S have already received the BIS certification, hence the launch seems imminent.

Realme will also be launching two smartphones in the next two months, Realme X2 Pro and Realme X2 (Realme XT 730G). The company may launch Realme 5S on the same day as a surprise. It’s going to be a better version of the Realme 5 packed with some added features.

The upcoming Realme budget smartphone is going to be an another version of the current Realme 5S. The company already has a wide lineup in the budget segment, and presently Realme 5 is the most affordable quad camera smartphone in the country.

Realme 5 is also the cheapest Snapdragon 665 smartphone in India which also power devices as Xiaomi Mi A3 and Redmi Note 8. 

The upcoming Realme 5S have already received the BIS certification, hence the India launch seems imminent. It was spotted on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) records.

Realme 5S has been certified in India, and the device was also spotted on Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). So, not only India, Realme 5S will also launch in Thailand as well.

While Realme is yet to confirm Realme 5S, the company is probably trying to keep this a surprise. The ex-Oppo sub-brand will probably launch Realme 5S as a surprise product at the upcoming launch event in India alongside Realme X2 Pro (November) or Realme XT 730G (December).

Not much is out, but Realme 5S will not be a massive upgrade over Realme 5. The device will have similar features as Realme 5 including a big battery, notched display, Snapdragon processor. 

Realme 5S will come with a similar quad camera setup, but with some downgraded internals to keep the price below Realme 5. The Realme 5S will launch at a very aggressive pricing, probably at the price of Realme 3 to take on smartphones in the sub-8,000 segment.

Coming to the Realme 5S India pricing,  the smartphone will fall in between the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro in the country. So, Realme 5S India price is expected somewhere around Rs 8,000 with almost similar features as the current Realme 5.

Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro were the first budget quad camera smartphones in the country.

Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro priced under Rs 10,000 and Rs 14,000 respectively. Realme 5S will now target a different segment below Realme 5, and with Realme 5S, customers will now have another budget quad camera smartphone option available.
