Redmi K30 Leaked With Quad Camera, Punch-Hole Dual Selfie, 5G Support: India Launch When?

While Xiaomi continues to succeed in the midrange and entry flagship segment with the Redmi K20 series, the company has now teased the next generation Redmi K30 officially. Xiaomi has already started working on the next K series smartphones, Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro.

The new Redmi flagships will run on the latest Qualcomm top-end chips, as confirmed by the company.

The sources cite that Redmi K30 Pro will run on the newly launched Snapdragon 855 Plus. While the Redmi K30 will come with a punch-hole camera this time. The Redmi K20 successor will again pack in top features backed by the latest technologies.

Redmi K30 Specs: What’s In The Box?

Redmi has officially teased Redmi K30, the next generation top-end K series smartphone confirming that they are already working on the successor, Redmi K30 and also the Pro variant, Redmi K30 Pro. The teaser reveals the first look of Redmi K30.

Redmi GM Lu Weibing previously confirmed the development, and the upcoming Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro are set to arrive soon.

The new Redmi K30 will not come with a pop-up camera as the current Redmi K20 series, but will have a punch-hole approach on the front instead. Just as Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, the latest Redmi K series flagship will come with a dual punch-hole capsule shaped setup. 

Interestingly, Xiaomi hasn’t yet launched any smartphone with a punch-hole camera, and Redmi K30 is going to be the first smartphone.

Redmi K30 is the first Redmi phone to come with a punch-hole screen.

Not only dual selfie camera, Redmi K30 has also been rumoured to come with quad cameras. The device will feature a four camera setup sporting four sensors. Redmi K20 already has three cameras, the K30 will have an additional macro lens as the Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Also, both the Redmi K30 smartphones will come with dual cameras upfront, an upgrade over the single selfie camera sensor on Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.

Redmi K30 India Launch: To Come In India With 5G?

Redmi K30 will come with 5G support, but the 5G models may only remain exclusive to China. Redmi K30 is going to be the first smartphone under the separated Redmi brand to have 5G support. Currently the Redmi K20 smartphones in India comes with standard 4G support.

Xiaomi didn’t reveal the Redmi K30 launch timeline, but it’s expected by the end of the year.

The company will be upgrading the current Redmi K20 series really quick to take on the growing competition. Realme is also planning to launch flagships in the entry-level premium segment, and the Redmi K30 series may stand as a perfect competition. 

Redmi K30 India Price, Redmi K30 Price In India

The Redmi K20 landed in India only a few months back, and the devices are doing pretty. Redmi K30 India launch may take some time, but it should be coming to India at around the same price as Redmi K20.

The company hasn’t yet revealed anything by far.

In India, recently the Redmi K20 series has been discounted amid the festive sales.

Redmi K20 is now selling at a permanent discounted price of Rs 19,999, while the Redmi K20 Pro is available at Rs 24,999. The new price cuts of Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 are also an indication for the Redmi K30 series in India.
