The Flipkart and Amazon’s festive season offers sure resulted in a fortune for Realme! Yes, the company sold about 2.2 million smartphones during these sales, as declared by the CEO of Realme.

Whereas, Xiaomi revealed that the company has sold about 5.3 million electronic devices overall. Together, Xiaomi and Realme sold more than 6 million smartphones in this single week.

OnePlus, Samsung have seen a growth of 5 times as compared to last year’s Great Indian Festival, but emerging on top are Chinese smartphones Realme and Xiaomi.

Realme Sold 2.2 Million Smartphones In Festive Season Sale

The sales hosted by Flipkart and Amazon offered a plethora of smartphones at great discounts, and smartphone manufacturers made some great sales.  

Realme’s CEO, Madhav Sheth revealed that they sold about 2.2 million smartphones in seven days, and being a newbie in this field, sale of 22 lakh devices is a huge deal! 

Oppo’s sub-brand, Realme has consistently been one of the top ten smartphone brands here in India and is right next in line to Xiaomi, Samsung and Vivo. And only after a year of its launch, Realme is now the number one brand on Flipkart as well. 

Also, Realme is now getting all set to launch the Realme X2 Pro, which is its flagship smartphone.

The Realme X2 Pro will first be launched in China in October, and then it will release in India. The phone will come with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a quad-camera setup with 64 MP rear camera, which will also have a first of its kind telephoto lens. It will also have a 20x hybrid zoom.  

Xiaomi Sold 5.3 Million Devices During Festive Season

Xiaomi has sold about 525 devices every minute, and about 5.3 million devices have been sold overall. Of 5.3 million, the company sold about 3.8 million smartphones, which is about 50 per cent growth as compared to last year’s. 

As per reports, the sale at Xiaomi, ‘Diwali With Xiaomi’ has been the biggest sale ever in the history of smartphone markets, and it made Xiaomi the biggest brand by a huge margin, with Redmi Note 7 making the top-selling phone series by Xiaomi.

In fact, in the second quarter of 2019, Xiaomi has had the highest number of sales, 46% of the total number, whereas, the brands that followed were Realme and Samsung with about 17% and 11% sale each.
