Vivo U10 Launched At Rs 8,990: 5,000mAh Battery, Triple Camera, Snapdragon 665 Processor & More!

Vivo U10 launch today and the event was hosted by Nipun Marya, the Head of Marketing strategy Vivo mobile India. He started by giving information about the company’s achievement in the last few years.

He said that Vivo is among the top 3 smartphone brands in India. He also informed that the mobiles sold in India are 100% manufactured in India only.

Further, he said that the company plans to expand in India by pumping Rs 7,500 crore in its manufacturing facility.

He also said that there are 650 Vivo service centers are operational in India to offer a great experience and support to their consumer base.

Than Marya invited Shankar Singh, the Product Manager Vivo India to give a walkthrough about the features of Vivo U10.

Vivo U10 Specifications

Shankar said that  Vivo U10 features a Halo FullView HD+ display of 6.35-inch with 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone also sports a 2.5D curved design.

While talking about battery, he said U10 packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

According to Vivo, a 10-minute charged phone can be used for 1.5 hours of YouTube playback or 1 hour of PUBG playing. The full battery on the phone can give you 7 hours of PUBG playing time.

Then comes the processor, Vivo U10 is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The company has done many customizations like Multi-Turbo to offer a great experience to the users.

While talking about camera he said that it has a triple rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main shooter. Also, it has an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.  

Shankar also informed that the device will support system-wide Dark Mode and comes with Ultra Game Mode. There is a rear fingerprint sensor provided for smooth handling.

According to Shanker, the phone will be offered in two colors – Electric Blue and  Thunder Black.

Then Marya returned to stage to disclose the pricing of the new phone. The smartphone will be sold online on Amazon form 29 September and also will be sold Vivo’s own e-store in the country.

Vivo U10 price will start at Rs 8990/- for the 3GB+ 32GB model. The 3GB + 64GB model will be sold at Rs. 9,990/- while  4GB + 64GB model will be sold ate Rs. 10,990/-.
