The first-ever dual pop-up selfie camera smartphone in here, Vivo V17 Pro. After tasting some good success with the Vivo V15 Pro, the company is now planning to rake up the entry-level flagship market again with V17 Pro.
The company claimed that Vivo smartphones account for 68 percent of the sales in the Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 price segment.

To carry with the legacy, the V15 Pro successor will come with six cameras in total, front and back. Vivo V17 Pro will house four cameras at the back and a dual camera pop-up system upfront. There’s a quad camera system at the back, while Vivo V17 Pro features a dual camera system upfront inside a wide-sized mechanical pop-up sensor.
Vivo V17 Pro has a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display offering a 91.65 percent screen-to-body ratio in an 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels sporting slim-bezels. It’s a glass sandwich body protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on both sides.
Vivo V17 Pro is powered by the same Snapdragon 675 chip. It will include 8GB of RAM, 128GB of onboard storage, to be available in a single variant. The smartphone will run on Android 9 Pie powered Funtouch OS 9.
The new Vivo V17 Pro will come with a dual selfie pop-up camera system on the front, an upgrade over the current single camera sensor.
The two cameras pop-up setup features a 32-megapixel main selfie shooter and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter backed by a Moonlight flash. It comes with Pose Master feature which will suggest poses for selfies, based on your surroundings. There’s a Super Night Mode and Shot Refocus as well supported by Sapphire glass for scratches.
The four rear camera module on V17 Pro has been placed in a vertical manner in in the middle of the rear panel. The setup includes a 48-megapixel f/1.8 main shooter, a 13-megapixel f/2.5 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, an 8-megapixel f/2.2 super wide-angle camera and finally a fourth 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
Coming to the battery, Vivo V17 Pro features a sizeable 4,100mAh battery, enough for it to run for a whole day. The device further supports Type-C 18W Dual Engine Fast Charging, packed with the fast charger inside the box.

Vivo V17 Pro will be available in a single variant at Rs 29,990 with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The pre-orders open today, and the device will go on sale starting next week on September 27. Vivo V17 Pro will be available in two colour variants: Glacier Blue and Midnight Ocean.
The lone 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model can be purchased both online and offline, unlike the latest Z-series smartphones.
