Lenovo owned Motorola has launched its first-ever Smart TV in India Today.  It will be sold on Flipkart exclusively during Big Billion Days. 

As per the specifications, this  TV will run on Android-based OS. Although Motorola has kept quiet about its name. but there was a teaser running on Flipkart earlier today. Its sell is supposed to start from 29th Sep.

The smart TV segment has received a boost in the country due to affordable offering by Xiaomi and many other brands. Xiaomi has also started its TV manufacturing unit in India.  To compete with these brands Motorola has priced its TVs from Rs 13,999 to Rs 64,999 depending on the size and resolution selected ranging from 32 inches to 65 inches. It is available in HD to 4K resolution.

This device is boosted with Mali 450 GPU, 2.25 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory. Users can enjoy an exotic gaming experiance, as TV will come with a separate remote control for gaming. 

The device is powered with Android 9.0 and feature support for HDR formats up to the Dolby Vision standard. It is also compatible with various sound formats like DTS and Dolby Audio.

It comes with a gamepad that will allow users to install and play games on the Android TV platform and Google Play Store. This Utility can also be used as a gaming device without a need for a dedicated gaming console. 

This TV features a front-firing soundbar style speaker placed right below the TV screen in all variants
