After Realme, Xiaomi unveiled its own Snapdragon 665 smartphone in India, the third generation Mi A3. While Realme is soaring high with its new Realme 5 series, it could soon cut short, courtesy goes to the upcoming Redmi Note 8 series. Xiaomi is all set disrupt the budget smartphone market once again.

The details about the regular Note 8 smartphone has been confirmed, and they seem a lot better than Realme 5 at under Rs 10,000.

The upcoming Redmi Note series phones will include two devices as the predecessor series: Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Both the new Redmi Note 8 series smartphones will launch on August 29 in China, and in India next month in September. Nokia 7.2 price has been leaked and the OnePlus 7T series leaks continue to pour in.

Mi A3

Mi A3 has been unveiled, and the smartphone will sell starting at Rs 12,999 in the country. With a very good 3D curved glass design on the out, Mi A3 feels very premium and compact. It features a 6.08-inch HD+ AMOLED display with a circular drop styled notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, full-glass body with gradient finish, triple camera system and will be powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with up to 4GB of RAM. 

Mi A3 has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. Upfront, Mi A3 features a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Redmi Note 8

The regular Redmi Note 8 will see a massive upgrade over the current Redmi Note smartphones. Redmi Note 8 has been officially confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and will start at under Rs 10,000. The regular Redmi Note 8 will come with a triple camera system on the rear panel. The camera specs confirm that Redmi Note 8 will come with a primary 48MP main camera, expected to be the Sony IMX586 sensor..

The other sensors will include a secondary Super Wide Angle and the third is going to be a depth sensor. Note 8 this time will come with a larger 4,500mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging, but with a 10W charger inside the box.

Realme 5

Realme 5 seems to be the next budget winner in the country. It will go on sale today. The smartphone will come with some path-breaking features at under 10,000 rupees. Realme 5 has already been confirmed with a 5,000mAh battery, four camera setup at the back and more. The smartphone is supposed to be powered by Snapdragon 665 chip. It also powers the upcoming Xiaomi mid-ranger, the third generation Mi A3, but it costs a lot more. Some leaks hint that Realme 5 will be priced at Rs 8,999 and will be available in multiple storage models.

Realme 5 will come with an HD+ water drop notched display, a brand new Qualcomm processor and a quad camera setup including a 16MP primary camera, an ultra wide-angle camera, a 4cm macro lens and a depth sensor for portrait shots.

Realme 5 Pro

Realme 5 series continue to trend like anything. The devices will go official today in the country, and they are going to be the first budget quad camera smartphones in the country. Realme 5 Pro has already been rumoured to come with an AMOLED display, a pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Though some leaks hint at a similar design as the predecessor with the new camera setup. The device will be powered by either Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 712 chip.

The high-resolution 48MP sensor will only come with Realme 5 Pro, while the other sensors including the 4cm macro and telephoto cameras are expected to remain standard to offer some top-notch smartphone camera experience. Realme 5 Pro will come at under Rs 15,000 in multiple storage models. 

Redmi Note 8 Pro

The full design of Redmi Note 8 Pro has been leaked. It reveals a new design with a rear four camera module. It is being speculated that the upcoming smartphone is going to be come with a 64MP camera sensor. There are four sensors in the leaked design, and the primary sensor could either be a 48MP or 64MP sensor. The quad camera system, which looks very similar design to the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

The four camera system has three camera sensors arranged vertically, while the fourth Time of Flight (ToF) sensor is placed on the right. The company will unveil the Note 8 series smartphones on August 29 in home market China followed by a launch in India.

Nokia 7.2

HMD Global will unveil Nokia 7.2 at the IFA 2019 on September 5 alongside Nokia 6.2. The smartphones are rumoured to come with water drop displays and triple rear camera systems. Nokia 7.2 will sport a circular camera module featuring a 48MP main sensor along with a 120-degree wide-angle lens in three colour options: Ice Blue, Forest Green and Charcoal Black. Nokia 7.2 will come at around Rs 18,000 as per the leaks and should launch in India in the sub Rs 20,000 segment.

The hands-on images show a glass sandwich body with slim form factor with a water drop notched display, first for any Nokia phone. The previous version of Nokia 7 series, Nokia 7.1 was launched in India last year priced at Rs 19,999. 

OnePlus 7T Pro

The next OnePlus smartphone leaks are out wide in the air, and the company may launch its first 64MP camera sensor with OnePlus 7T Pro. The live images are already out, and the smartphone could be powered by the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chip. The latest leak hints at a September-end launch. OnePlus 7T series is being rumoured by multiple sources to be launching on September 26 in India. The 7T series sales are supposed to start from mid-October. 

OnePlus will definitely be adapting the latest 64MP camera technology, we don’t know when. It could be OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro or a smartphone next year. The company will also be unveiling its first SmartTV in India in September.
