Redmi Note 8, Note 8 Pro, Redmi 8, Redmi 8 Pro, Redmi 8A Leaked: This Is What You Should Expect?

In the last 24 hours, we have received some interesting details related with Redmi Note 8 Pro, along with Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro.

Specs, images of these three upcoming smartphones from Redmi suggests an interesting combination. More or less, they set an expectation for Redmi fans, who are planning to buy a new smartphone shortly.

Please note, that India launch of these smartphones aren’t yet confirmed.

Here are the available information:

Redmi Note 8, Note 8 Pro: Live Images, Specs

From what it seems like an advertisement for Redmi Note 8 Pro currently being shot, few live images of the smartphone has been revealed, which also suggests possible hardware specs.

As per this leaked image, we expect:

• Redmi Note 8 Pro will have a smooth green gradient finish (atleast for this variant)
• A rear fingerprint scanner is present
• Triple camera setup in the rear
• The positioning of the rear triple camera has been set in the top centre of the panel, compared to top left in Redmi Note 7 Pro, which had dual camera
• Fingerprint scanner and the triple camera has been aligned in one single line, thereby creating a longish module. This is a major design change, compared to Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone.
• We are expecting 64MP rear camera for Redmi Note 8 Pro, but that hasnt been confirmed yet.

At the same time, first images of Redmi Note 8 has been leaked, by Redmi General Manager. Here is the first look:

Meanwhile, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro has been certified by US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the listings visible tells us more about these new smartphones.

As per the US FCC documents, these two smartphones have been certified under the names of M1908C3JG and M1908C3JH for Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro respectively.

The documents tells us:

• Both of these smartphones will have a quad-camera setup
• The quad-cameras are positioned vertically, and placed at the top left corner
• Waterdrop-notch is present for both Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro
• Back panel has gradient finishing, with light blue and purple shading
• Fingerprint sensor is present
• Both volume rockers and power button for Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro are placed on the right side edge of the smartphones
• 6.1-inch display or 166 mm display is confirmed (calculated diagonally) with dimensions of 158.29×75.3mm
• Both are phones are expected to be launched in two variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB
• Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C port will be present in the smartphones

Redmi 8A Specs Leaked

At the same time, we have received some leaked specs of Redmi 8A, which can be launched with Redmi 8 and Redmi 8 Pro.

The details we know:

• Redmi 8A will have 6.217-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) TFT display
• Octa-core SoC is confirmed. But we are not aware of the processor
• The variants will have maximum of 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage options
• There will be dual camera setup in the rear with a 12-megapixel primary sensor
• 8MP selfie camera will be present
• 5000 mAh battery confirmed for Redmi 8A
• MicroSD card support will be there
• The smartphone will weigh 190 gms, and measure 156.3×75.4×9.4mm
