More details have emerged about OnePlus TV, but before that, the excitement is building for the new 5G smartphone from OnePlus!
New 5G Smartphone From OnePlus
During a media interaction, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has hinted that a new 5G smartphone from OnePlus can be launched very soon.
Most probably, before 2019 ends.
Infact, as per the statements given, it seems that the new smartphone from OnePlus having 5G capability can be OnePlus 7T, a new variant under the OnePlus 7 series.
As of now, OnePlus 7 Pro has 5G capability, and it is compatible with 5G network from UK’s EE network. Now, it seems that a new variant under OnePlus 7 series: OnePlus 7T can be launched, which will have 5G capability, and will cheaper than OnePlus 7 Pro variant.
During the media interaction, Pete also suggested that if a brand claims a smartphone to be flagship, then it must have 5G feature.
He said, “If you want to be a premium phone in 2020, you have to be equipped with 5G technology. We believe with the development of 5G technology next year we can have an (even) better performance. With the upcoming 5G era approaching, we are going to invest more.”

OnePlus TV Will Have Android OS
Last week, some interesting leaks have emerged about OnePlus TV, and one of the strongest possibilities is Android OS, powering this smart TV.
Since this new smart TV has been spotted at Bluetooth SIG website, chances are high that it will have Android OS, which will allow the users to explore full potential of the platform.
Besides, the TV is expected to be launched in 4 sizes: 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. Bluetooth 5.0 is also almost confirmed.
As per the leaks available, OnePlus TV will be launched between September 20th and September 30, and will be available on Amazon.
