Popular Bollywood actress and celebrity Sunny Leone has once again snatched the numero uno position in popularity, atleast in India.
As per latest numbers coming in from Google Trends report for India, Sunny Leone is the #1 celebrity when it comes to searching on Google.
Sunny Leone Beats Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, PM Modi
By becoming the #1 celebrity on Google trends, Sunny Leone has beaten Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan in the list. And this also includes India’s PM Narendra Modi.
While Amitabh Bachchan is regarded as India’s biggets Bollywood superstar, having debuted in 1969, Shahrukh Khan, known as Badshaad of Bollywood made his acting debut in 1988, and have delivered more than 60 blockbuster hits.
Meanwhile Sunny Leone, who was an adult movie star in America earlier, made her debit in India with MTV in 2005. Ever since that, she has acted in 30+ movies in Hindi, Tamil, Kanada, Telugu and Malyalam movies.
She holds an American citizenship.
In a statement, Sunny Leone said, “My team bought this to my notice and I have to attribute this to my fans who have constantly been there for me . It’s a great feeling.”
Sunny Leone Snatches #1 Position From Priya Varrier
In Google India’s annual search report in 2018, it was shockingly found that Sunny Leone has lost the #1 position in the list to a relatively newcomer called Priya Varrier.
She made her debut in a Malayalam movie, where her ‘wink song’ became viral, and she became an overnight sensation. In that list, Priyanka Chopra’s husband Nick Jonas was ranked at #2, while Priyanka Chopra herself was ranked #4.
Sunny Leone was ranked #2 in the list, which has now changed to #1, again.
Sunny Leone’s #1 Position: Interesting Facts
As per the Google Trends report, North East India is the region from where most number of searches related with Sunny Leone initiates. This includes Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunanchal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur.
Besides, the report also states that people are mainly searching about Sunny Leone’s videos, and along with her web series: “Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story Of Sunny Leone”.
