Of all the announcements, the Jio Blockchain turns out to be major news. Jio Fiber is all set for a commercial entry on September 5 with free TV and more.

Reliance Jio DTH: Free FullHD TV With Connection

Reliance Jio will offer a free FullHD TV or a Home PC with Jio Forever Plan. This is going to be a part of the Jio Fiber service. The newly announced Jio Welcome offer entitles you for a free FullHD TV or PC. The details of TV brands are yet to be announced, and whether users will have to pay any security deposit or not.

Every registered Jio Fiber user under Jio Welcome Offer will get a free Full HD TV and free service for some months.

JioTV Services: Free Movies, OTT Content, 4K Streaming, JioDTH

Reliance is bringing a special Jio First Day First Show subscription. This will allow subscribers to enjoy a new film in their home on the same as the movie is being released in theatres. The Jio First Day First Show feature will be available from mid-2020.

The Jio Set-Top-Box will support Mixed Reality services as MR shopping, MR education and MR movie watching. Jio will also offer a gaming console and Jio Holoboard MR headset.

Free Calls Forever: Unlimited International Calls At Rs 500 Per Month

Voice calls from Jio Fiber fixed line phones to anywhere across India will be free for life. The outgoing calls from the phone are unlimited and will remain free forever. Reliance Jio users will be able to make unlimited international calls with the new Jio International Calling pack.

The Jio International Calling pack costs Rs 500 a month and it offers unlimited free calls to the US and Canada.

Jio Fiber Welcome Offer: Free FullHD TV, Free Set Top Box, Free Home PC

Under the Jio Fiber Welcome offer, users will get a Full HD TV or a Home PC, a Jio 4K Set-Top-Box. The RIL Chairman clarified that these products will be absolutely free with the Jio Forever Plan or Jio Fiber Welcome offer. Reliance Jio is yet to announce whether there are any other charges attached.

The Welcome offer or Forever plan may include a security deposit to get a free TV or Home PC and 4K STB.

JIO FIBER Start At Rs 700 Per Month: Up To 100Mbps Speed & Unlimited Usage

Jio Fiber plans will start at Rs 700 a month with upto 100Mbps speed and unlimited usage. Jio Fiber plans will come in multiple options: monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual packages. The Jio Fiber monthly plans start at Rs 700, which goes way up to Rs 10,000.

The Fiber service also includes options to add a 4K set-top box with Mixed Reality, Gaming and more.

Reliance Jio & Microsoft To Partner To Bring Azure For Jio Data Centers

Reliance Jio and Microsoft will partner to set up one of the largest networks of world-class data centers across the country. These will be powered by Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform. Also, the company will be offering free internet, cloud space and connectivity for the new-age startups.

For MSMEs, Reliance Jio has special plans ready. They will be offering connectivity and business-related applications starting at just Rs 1,500 a month.

Jio’s IPO In The Next Three Years

The popularity of Reliance Jio has pushed the company to list it’s telecom business separately. Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail will soon be getting a listing within the next 3 to 5 years, said Mukesh Ambani. RIL shares are now up by around 1 percent at Rs 1,162 on BSE. Jio’s IPO initiative has been picked up, and works are on.

The RIL-owned telecom company reported its seventh straight profitable quarter with earnings growing at a 46 percent QoQ. Also, Reliance Jio is currently India’s second-largest telecom by users.

Reliance Jio IoT: Plans To Connect Next Billion Connected Devices

Reliance Jio is planning to connect more than 1 billion connected IoT devices. All these devices will remain connected through the company’s Internet of Things (IoT) platform. The company has readily working on to improve the narrow-band IoT technology as far as possible, and it seems to be ready to be launched for IoT.

The pan-India 4G network is the Narrowband Internet-of-Things or Jio NBIoT. The devices will work in a single network to offer services at the lowest cost possible.
