Celebrating the mark of India’s 73rd Independence Day, Amazon is hosting its annual Freedom Sale 2019 in Amazon India, starting from August 8 and continuing up to August 11. Like always, for Prime members, Amazon will start the sale from a day before the regular. Customers will get to avail smartphones and accessories at a discount up to 40%, while some electronic items will see a 50% off and large appliances like TV and air conditioners will stand phenomenal at up to 60% discounted prices.
Not only this, for the Freedom Sale, Amazon has partnered with State Bank of India, so SBI credit cardholders will get another 10% instant discount whereas those using Bajaj Finserv EMI card, Amazon Pay ICICI Credit card and select Debit & Credit Cards can avail no-cost EMI.

Speaking of the Sale
Almost a week from the sale, Amazon has revealed some details about the Freedom sale and the offers that will be available during the sale, however it hasn’t revealed anything about the exact offer prices. We have brought to you everything we surehandeldly know of:
Smartphones
Amazon has announced that some of the newly launched smartphones including the OnePlus 7, the Samsung Galaxy M40, and the Oppo K3 will be available on discount offer. Also, the highly awaited Huawei Y9, which is launching on August 1 in India, will be available on Amazon with launch offers during the Freedom sale.
Phones like Honor View 20, currently being retailed at Rs 42,999 is sold on Amazon for Rs 27999, at 35% discount. Not just this, Realme U1 is available at a discounted price of 31% on the e-commerce platform, at Rs 8999 from Rs 12999, along with Huawei Y9 which is being retailed at a discount of 32%, bringing its price down from Rs 18990 to Rs 12990.
Some of the best selling budget phones like Samsung Galaxy M20, Mi A2, Redmi 6A, LG W30, Samsung Galaxy M10, Honor 10 Lite, Redmi Y2 too will see heavier discounts. Extra exchange discount and no-cost EMI options will be on offer on the latest OnePlus 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Oppo Reno, Oppo F11 Pro and Vivo V15.
Even though the offer price of the sale hasn’t been revealed yet, it is safe to say that smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy M20, Samsung Galaxy M30, Samsung Galaxy M40, Oppo A7, Honor View 20 and Redmi Y3 are surely known to witness decent cuts in their retail prices during the sale period.
Electronics and TV Appliances
Cameras are known to be sold at discounted rates of up to 50%, while headphones and speakers will see up to 60% off. Smartwatches and monitors will be available at up to 50% discounts, while gaming accessories and Alexa devices will sold at up to 30% discounted cuts.
Even large appliances like large screen TVs and smart TVs will be available at discounted prices up to 50%. Premium TVs will be sold at discounts up to 45% whereas 32-inch TVs will be sold at prices up to 40% discounts.

Electronic accessories like cables, chargers, power banks, Bluetooth headsets, and phone covers will also be available for purchase with attractive discounts on the e-commerce giant’s platform.
