Prepaid users can now get 33GB of free data, but there is a catch.
Meanwhile, Airtel Digital TV too is being heavily promoted, as freebies of Rs 1000, and exclusive discounts have been offered for HD Set Top Box.

Airtel Offering Free 33 GB Data With This Plan
Airtel prepaid users can get free 33GB of free data, if they recharge their account with Rs 399 plan. But, there is a catch: Users will need to recharge their accounts with Rs 399 plan from Airtel Thanks app.
With Rs 399 plan, Airtel users can get 1GB of data per day for 84 days, as the validity of this plan is 84 days. 100 free SMS and unlimited voice calling are part of the plan.
Note here, that if the user recharges their account from any other app like Paytm or Freecharge or directly from the retailer/physical outlet, there will be no free 33GB data.
Airtel Thanks app, which was earlier My Airtel app, needs to be installed on the phone, and then the recharge has to be done via Airtel Thanks app only, for availing the free 33 GB data benefit.
Airtel Thanks app offers users complete information about their accounts, and also provides loyalty benefits such as free access to Amazon Prime, Netflix, Airtel TV and other freebies.

Airtel Digital TV, the DTH platform from Airtel has launched yet another price war, this time for targeting HD users.
Their HD Set Top box is now available with massive discounts upto Rs 500: Earlier, the price of the HD set top box was Rs 1943, which has been now slashed to Rs 1453.
Besides, freebies upto Rs 1000 has been offered along with the HD Set top boxes, for new users. For instance, a standard bundle of 150 channels have been combined, for which the user need to pay Rs 452 per month.
