Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing posted a stunning image of a cat, shot with Redmi’s new 64MP camera phone, with text emphasizing the fact that its a 64MP smartphone.

However, no name was shared, and it is not clear which Redmi smartphone will it be.

Xiaomi India Head: Manu Kumar Jain posted the same image on Twitter today, and said that Redmi is entering the era of 64MP, with heart signs.

These two developments clearly showcase that Xiaomi will launch a 64MP camera, and it would be under the Redmi brand.

And this also proves that Redmi will directly challenge Realme in the 64MP camera battle.

Although it was not revealed, but this 64MP camera can have Samsung sensor, with Quad Bayer technology, which can take real-time HDR quality videos as well.

Huawei P20 Pro and Honor View 20 already has this Quad Bayer sensors.

Can Redmi Note 8 Pro Have 64MP Camera?

As Redmi has officially teased their next 64MP camera smartphone, speculations are rife about which smartphone will it be?

As per some tech observers, this can be Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone, which can be launched anytime after August this year.

Now, Redmi Note 7 Pro changed the market for 48MP camera smartphones, as they introduced 48MP camera for the first time in mid-range smartphones.

If we follow this trend of Note series smartphones from Redmi, then there is a high possibility that Redmi Note 8 Pro can actually have 64MP camera.
