ISRO has offered every Indian a chance to watch this mega-launch live, from Sriharikota.

The visitors can enter a specially designated location, the Visitor’s Gallery at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, and experience the thrill of watching India’s most crucial space launch, live.

A special Space Themed Park has been created for this purpose as well.

How To Register For The Chandrayaan-2 Launch

In order to register yourself for watching the launch, you need to visit this official link, and then click on Register Now button.

The registration link has been made live since July 19th, and will be open till there is place left for new visitors.

So, you need to hurry up. (Sullurpeta is the nearest Railway Station from Sriharokota, which is at a distance of 18 kms.)

What Can You Find At Sriharikota

Ast the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, ISRO has created a special Space Theme Park, which will have:

  • Rocket Garden: ISRO’s launch vehicles such as Sounding Rocket, SLV, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV, Mk-III and more has been re-created in the ratio of 1:1, where visitors can go, and experience it. Photography will be allowed there.
  • Launch View Gallery: A special launch view gallery has been created, where thousands of Indians can watch the launch live, and cheer for the nation. There is a space constraint, and registrations will be closed once the quote is finished.
  • Space Museum: Besides, a special Space Museum has been created, which will highlight the glorious history of ISRO, and will showcase our space journey divided into 6 categories: history, education, technology, applications, global and the future.
