After a successful run for five long years, Xiaomi India will now be celebrating its half-long decade success in the country with five new products. A company merely someone knew a few years back rocketed to become the biggest smartphone brand in the country.
While its smartphones are already big hits, the products are super successful in India as well.
In China, the company has an array of products available under the brand, but it only brings a few selected to the country. India being its largest market after China, the company dominates in almost all the budget and upper budget categories in the smartphone market.
Not only smartphones, Xiaomi is also the biggest TV brand and wearable brand in the country.
To celebrate the five-year long success, the company will launch five new products in the country. Here are the details.
Five New Xiaomi Products To Celebrate Five Year Success In India
The company started off its five year celebration in the country with the launch of a trimmer. The Mi Beard Trimmer was launched in India today, its first in the country. The Mi Beard Trimmer will be available at Rs 1,199. This is the first product, and four more will launch in the following weeks.
The Mi Beard Trimmer is the first grooming product from Xiaomi to be launched in India.
Apart from the Mi Beard Trimmer, Xiaomi India will now launch four more non-smartphone products in the country. This includes an over the head headphones, new wireless earphones, rechargeable LED Lamp, fast charger, and a Mi Truck Builder.
Xiaomi Mi Trucker Loader will come with 500 parts. It has no toys available under the brand in the country, and again it’s going to be a first time category for Xiaomi in India. The company has claimed Mi Trucker Loader to be “your child’s new favourite toy”.
Up next, Xiaomi will launch a newly improved Mi Headphones, upgraded Mi wireless earphones and a rechargeable LED lamp. The company has multiple earphones available, but it’s going to be Xiaomi’s first over the head earphones in India.
Xiaomi India also teased a fast charger to be launched in the following weeks. Xiaomi already sells the 18W fast charger in India, so this will see a jump over the charging speeds. While the company is yet to reveal the specs, the company may launch the 27W fast charger in India next, the same sold with Redmi K20 Pro and Mi 9.
Upcoming Xiaomi Smartphones In India: Redmi Smartphones Launching In July
The five year celebrations don’t end here. Apart from five new non-smartphone products, Xiaomi India is will launch Redmi K20 series in the country next month. Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will target the upper budget and entry premium smartphone markets in the country respectively.
The company may also launch the Redmi 6A budget successor, Redmi 7A in India alongside Redmi K20 series.
Xiaomi will launch all these new products to celebrate the five year run in India one at a time over the next five weeks. Redmi K20 series launch may happen at the end, so the India launch should may sometime during the third week of July.
