Tata Sky’s Room TV Service is live

After June 15th, Tata Sky will terminate all multi-TV plans from their platform. This will mean that users of more than one connection from Tata Sky will need to pay individually for the packs.

Just before this deadline, Tata Sky has now launched Room TV Service, specifically designed and made for multi-TV users.

Meanwhile, Airtel Digital TV is now offering 100+ long term plans, which also include attractive cash back offers.

Tata Sky’s Room TV Service Launched

Under Tata Sky’s Room TV Service, users can select different packs for the secondary TV connection, which will have no link or attachment with the pack activated on the main connection.

This means, for specific rooms in the house, users can now select specific packs and channels, without any inter-connection between the other activations.

In a statement, Tata Sky said, “Subscribers can seamlessly choose the content of their choice on the secondary connections and only pay for the selected content. Their secondary connections can now have different channels & services from the base pack selected for the first connection in the house under the same subscriber ID,”

Say, a user has three connections under Tata Sky.

One connection is active in the drawing room, while the one is in the kid’s room, and one in the bedroom.

Now, users can choose different packs for all three connections, based on the audience.

The packs selected in the Kid’s room will be entirely different from the packs selected in the bedroom.

Although no specific details about the pricing have been shared, but it seems that the user will have to pay for the individual NCF charges.

Checkout Tata Sky official website or app for more details on how to activate the Room TV Service.
