Online Smartphone Sales See Growth in India
A report published by Counterpoint Research has shown that online sales in India have grown at 43%, which represents 17% YoY (year on year) growth. As per Counterpoint, this growth is due to the launch of new devices, sales events and offers by Xiaomi, Samsung and Realme. On the other hand, offline shipments have plummeted by around 4% YoY. Flipkart is at the top of the list with 53% sales, Amazon India is at 36% and Xiaomi bags 11%.

Huawei Ships 1 Million Devices With HongMeng OS
After the US banned Huawei from using Google services, Huawei has come up with its own OS, the HongMeng OS. the company has also shipped 1 million devices with this OS already. As per the firm Rosenblatt Securities, these devices are being prepared for testing, and it is not clear if they are actual phones available for sale in the market or just development products. This OS will apparently have “increased security functions to protect personal data”.
Asus Vivobook14 and 15 Launched in India
Asus is planning to launch two more laptops in India, Vivobook 14 X412 and 15 X512, which will be available for sale online and offline platforms as well. The Vivobook 15 will be powered by 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor and the Vivobook 15 by 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor. The prices of the laptops are Rs. 33,990 for Vivobook 14 and Rs. 55,990 for Vivobook 15.
Nubia Red Magic 3 Price in India
Nubia is all set to launch the Red Magic 3 smartphone in India on June 17, which was launched in China in April. News is that the phone will be launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 36,999 for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM variant. This is a gaming smartphone and compared to the Black Shark 2, Red Magic 3 is definitely cheaper. The phone features a Snapdragon 855 chipset and 48 MP camera with the Sony IMX 586 sensor.
Honor 20, 20i and 20 Pro Launched in India
Honor has launched the Honor 20 series smartphones, Honor 20, Honor 20i, and Honor 20 Pro in India. The Honor 20i will be available from June 18 on Flipkart and at offline retail stores throughout the country, whereas the Honor 20 will be available from June 25. The date of sale of Honor 20 Pro is not yet revealed. The Honor 20 is priced at Rs. 32,999, the Honor 20i at Rs. 14,999, and Honor 20 Pro will cost Rs. 39,999.
