Avengers Endgame Becomes 1st Movie To Be Screened 24 * 7 In India, Crosses 1 Million Ticket Sales?

Avengers Endgame Will Be Screened 24 & 7
As per a report, a leading movie chain in India has sought permission to run Avengers Endgame movie 24 *7. It seems that the request has been placed for running the show post-midnight in all Tier-1 cities across India.
The official from the multiplex chain said, “The permission came through today and we were informed of the same verbally. The permission, however, is given only for Avengers: Endgame.”
As per laws in India, movies are not allowed to be screened post-midnight in India, and this is a special permission given only for Avengers Endgame.
Interestingly, another leading multiplex had already accepted bookings for a 3.20 AM show, something which has never been seen before.
1 Million Tickets Already Sold
As per BookMyShow, more than a million tickets were sold in just one day on their platform. This means they were able to sell 18 tickets per second.
Bookings opened last Saturday, and the movie is releasing tomorrow, across India.
This is unprecedented, as BookMyShow or any other ticketing platform has not been able to sell such a massive number of tickets ever.
Now, the tickets are also available across other platforms such as Paytm, PVR, Cinepolis, Inox, Carnival and other movie chains’ websites.
The price of tickets are also varying, as the tickets are now available from Rs 190 to Rs 1900, and even going as high as as Rs 3000 in some locations.
Disney India’s head of studio entertainment, Bikram Duggal said, “Avengers: Endgame is not just a movie, it’s an epic culmination of a decade long journey which the fans have taken with us across 22 films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe,”
Movie Ticket Sale Crosses Rs 700 Crore in China
Not only India but the demand for Avengers Endgame is all across the world.
In China, the pre-booking sale of the movie has grossed $100 million, which is Rs 750 crore+. This has beaten Monster Hunt 2 record, which was $59 million.
This way, Avengers Endgame has become the movie with the biggest opening ever in China, and probably the whole world.
