What’s in the box?

The box contains a sim card tool, a soft TPU case, a warranty card, quick guide, and documentation. The box also comes with a VOOC charging unit, but more on that later!

Camera

The phone has a rear camera of 16 MP + 5 MP, of which the 16 MP camera has F/1.7 and the 5 MP has F/2.4 and a flash as well.

The camera of the phone easily adds to the value of the phone, which has the IMX 519 sensor, which is the same as the one fitted in OnePlus 6T.

The front camera is of 25 MP with F/2.0 and the photos clicked with the phone are excellent. There are quite some features that come with the phone, such as portrait mode, HDR mode, chroma boost mode, night mode too. The camera quality, at first impression, is nothing to complain about.

The phone’s camera comes with two special features, one is 960 fps, which enables super slow motion videos. The second one is the ultra HD mode, which can click a picture of up to a whopping 64 MP.

Look, Feel and Build

The Realme 3 Pro we unboxed is blue in color, although half of the back panel is purple and there is an ‘S’ shaped line which separates the two patches. The TPU case does a great job of fitting on the phone.

On the bottom side of the phone is the speaker grill, micro USB port, 3.5 mm microphone jack, and on the top is the noise canceling mic. On the right, there is the power button, and on the left, there are the volume keys and the sim card tray, for the dedicated sim card slot.

The phone also comes with a screen guard already applied, which adds to the plus points of the phone. The phone fits perfectly in the hand and the weight distribution of the phone makes it easy to handle the phone.

Battery and Processor

Realme 3 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, which helps the phone functions pretty fast. The phone also has Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The operating system of the phone is Color OS 6.0, which is the newest version.

The phone comes with a 4045 mAh battery, which also supports fast charging. The box of the phone contains a VOOC 3.0 charging unit, launched by Oppo, which is the fast charging unit of 20 Watt power.

The phone’s storage, for a 128 GB ROM, of which 20 GB is occupied by the system but leaves around 108 GB for you to use.

Display

The bezels of the phone are quite thin, the upper bezel more than the lower one. On the display, there is a waterdrop notch. The screen is a 6.3” FHD+ screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080.

The back panel of the phone is not glass, however, the front screen is protected with a Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Color OS 6.0 boosts the display of the phone and makes the apps look nice and attractive.

Features and Specifications

Realme 3 Pro has pretty much all the sensors, including a fingerprint sensor and face unlock system as well. There is no notification light, however, an FM radio is present.

The phone does not have an IP rating or support, but the company has assured that the phone won’t face much of a problem unless it is drowned in water.

The phone supports dual 4G connectivity with L1 WideVine. The phone shows L3 but is set to be upgraded to L1 soon, which means full HD streaming will be available soon.

There is a Bluetooth 5.0 too and a Google cam can also be installed too as the phone supports Camera 2 API.

We tested the read and write speed of the phone, 287 Mbps is the reading speed and 181 Mbps of the writing speed.

The security features, viz. fingerprint sensor and face unlock system are impressively fast and the phone does not open with a face mask as well, which makes the phone’s security fast.

Audio and Visuals

The colors on the video are sufficiently bright and pleasing. The audio of the phone is also good and quite satisfactory.

The AnTuTu test on the phone also gave pretty decent results, with the score of the performance mode being 171481, and the normal mode scores were around 157178.

The phone will help the user have a great gaming experience, we can vouch that PUBG can be played at medium and high settings without a flaw.

Realme 3 Pro is the only phone in its price range which supports Fortnite and the CEO has flaunted this particular feature of the phone. However, the experience might turn out to be a bit sluggish.
